kk pal gl with that. if u die in 1 sec even with ur 7 sec after life thats only 8 sec and ur still dead, lot of good that does ur team when there still fighting and ur screen is black. have fun pubstomping the low elos cause thats all this is good for. Trust me no way would i or any good mid let u get fed enough to finish this much less live long enough to do serious damage with it.

I don't understand why ppl are raging... I always use this build on Karthus and i always go positive... the ppl that say that ur going to die in 1 sec clearly don't understand that Kartus is a range caster and is not supposed to run inte a teamfight with ur E on and standing still... and who cares if u die in 1 sec. Death is Katrus friend ;) +1 from me

OK take it from a person who mains karthus (he was also the first 6300 champ i bought back in the day when he cost that much). Anyway glass cannon build is amazing IF YOUR PUBSTOMPING A BUNCH LOW LEVEL NOOBS?!?!!?!? I really dont know how you can actully recomend this as a legit build.

#1. I dont get why people dont understand that you dont really need mana items if u just take defile at lvl 2 and again at lvl 5, u take defile for the passive not the damage, u dont use the damage on defile untill u hit about lvl 10-12 (or if u have blue buff).

#2. i dotn care what lvl ur at or who ur playing they will get to u. If "staying way back" is ur idea of playing karhtus well then ur nothing more then an "R" bot. Karthus is designed to be played as a tankier mage then most with most of his damage comming from in close.

#3. why would u buy a mejai's?? yes i see taht u sell it later but honestly buying a mejai's is like saying PLEASE COME KILL ME! dosnt not work at mid-high elo

#4. Karthus ult has difrent uses at difrent stages in the game. the only time it is purly for kills is in laning phase. after that it can and should be used in coordination with your tank to initate teamfights, too even odds for your teammate fighting 1 v 1 or 1 v 2, or as clean up at the very end of a fight. His ult is not i repeat NOT a primary source of damage or kills. To be honest You can be just as deadly and effective with 20 assists as u can with 20 kills when playing karthus.

#5. As if all the above wasnt enough You do realize there are guides that include a glass cannon build nearly the same as urs (main difrence is ur use of majai's see earlier point).

#6. Not as big a deal but cdr and mana runes? really? get real, Give the guy some defenceve stuff or extra pen and ap. Dont do this little oh im a mage **** and go mana cdr. NOT HOW U PLAY KARTHUS. besides even though i disagree with ur build there is no point of having the small amount of mana u get from those runes with this build.

Oh and in closing if you just assume i dont know what im talking about I can take Karthus too anylane and jungle with him (heck i can solo blue at lvl 1 if needed).

1st- Akaki won't even get close, thats why i state you need to stay "way back".

2nd- If you did your job right you can launch Requiem more ofter than you might think.

3rd- If you want a "regular" Karthus guide, theres already plenty good ones here like this Karthus - Karaoke Has Never Been This Dangerous

4th- You have several roles and they are far from sitting in base waiting for Requiem.
-Initiate team fights for 550 + 60% +1000AP X 5 enemies. Thats way more damage you will ever do if you "Lay Waste" them. (Team fights don't happen every 30 seconds)
-Push lines when you know where the enemy team is.
-Defend base.
- Stay back in team fights using Wall of Pain to help your team casters or to help someone escape.

But seriously, AA stacking is only for the lolz. You can't legitimize it by contributing ONLY with an ultimate every 2 minutes then just chilling in base until it comes up again. You have to actually go in and deal damage with Lay Waste, and then you'll die. It's not exactly helpful for your team to be fighting a 4v5 the whole time.
