I think you've misunderstood the Wiki. The slows are applied at the same time, they don't come one after another. It's still a four second slow, with the first 1.5 seconds being a stronger slow. Just look under the example on the LoL Wiki: Quoted:
A champion with a raw movement speed of 400 is affected by a 2 second long 40% slow and a 5 second long 20% slow at the same time.
For the first two seconds, he will have (1 − 0.4) × (1 − 0.2 × 0.35) = 0.6 × 0.93 = 55.8% of his original movement speed (a 44.2% effective slow). So he will have 400 × 0.558 = 223.2 raw movement speed. For the following three seconds, the effective slow will be 20% and so he will have 400 × 0.8 = 320 movement speed. After that, he will return to his normal speed of 400. It clearly states that the first two second will be a stronger slow, but the overall time slowed is still only equal to the longest slow. |

Great guide. I just had a question about a situation I've run into a bunch of times. Many times people see Nunu in the que for their team and they don't add another tank because they want you to. Is there anyway to up your tankiness and replace items without sacrificing too much of your damage output? If so, which items would you replace with what? |

@Freddie well if you're correct then it gives a 6% slow. Which I guess isn't great as you say. However I get Rylai's pretty late in my build and usually the game is drawing to a close at that point before RoA would become effective. If you want to swap RoA with Rylai's feel free. |

great guide but in late game enemies,you said swain has a stun,but he does not have on he can roote you but not stun. |

Thanks for this great guide. I'm new on LoL (only 3 days playing, but i have some experience of other games) and one friend of mine recommended Nunu, because he was free and easy to play. Until now i was only assisting people, and making a bad use of his ulti. With your tips, i think i can do a good job using him. Thanks one more time :) |
