lolz my comments got published in a guide :) i feel honoured, thnx. the first up vote comes from me :D
still a few things id like to mention.
skill sequence and start items are lane dependant.
2v2 lane: go as decsribed in the guide.
1v2 lane: i love to solo lane with mundo, has great staying power and in ranked its very possible that your team has a jungler. for items in 1v2 id rather get either regrowth pedant and a health pot, or basic shoes and 3 pots. first choice is better against melee enemies, second agains ranged or strong harrassers. sometimes u cant tell who u will lane against so it ur choice (clavoirance helps here if someone has it on ur team)
for skills
- if its really strong harrassers (say cait, zil) upgrade Q over E: u will most probably just towerhug and last hit minions and harrass with cleaver.
- if its some easier combo (say lee, shen) i get just 2 points in Q and max E then.
Also mostly i take one rank of W on lvl 4

and a final tought (although i never tried it before in a match) if the game takes really long and your build is finished: u have tons of MR, ur W is maxed so i was thinking about selling the mercs and buying some other offensive item (IE, BT, Starks come in mind). The reason is that with PD + FoN u get the same (actually slightly higher) move speed then with shoes that give Enhanced Movement 2. but thats just an idea :)

EDIT: i would rush waumoghs - meaning that i buy it before mercs

Jeez I dunno, I mean, you get health regen from Doran's shield (aswell as armour and health) so I still think it's the best starting item for Mundo and it's not often I play against teams that don't have junglers so a 1v2 is kinda moot.

I think instead of selling mercs you should sell Spirit Visage for something else I think.
