Top Lane With Zed *How To Use His Skills*
At the beginning Shadow Slash is a great way to farm minions.
As the battle progresses I usually am able to back the enemy opponent into their tower and just simply harass them using a combination of Living Shadow (W) into Shadow Slash (E) slowing them down then being able to successfully hit Razor Shuriken dealing quite a heavy amount of damage.
Once you reach level 6 and obtain your Ultimate make sure that when you use your ultimate all your skills have reset on cooldown to be able to spam as much as possible dealing a lot of damage before your ultimate takes into effect adding the extra % damage dealing tremendous damage.
As for Marks go I take Greater Mark of Strength for increased attack damage at the start.
For Seal's in take Greater Seal of Lucidity to increase my Energy regeneration throughout the match keeping myself ready for any situation.
As for Glyph's you can take whatever you like, I haven't found any Glyph's that look appealing enough to buy, but some suggestions would be taking any type of defensive Glyph's.

For Masteries I take 22/0/8, well I guess these Masteries I use are obvious since he is AD, I take 4% cool-down also because I would get annoyed at the cool down of Zeds Living Shadow (W) keeping him able to either chase down enemy champions or being able to escape from battles easier, which is also the reason why I take the 2% movement speed.
As I start off a 5v5 solo top lane i chose to take Long Sword and a Health potion (From personal experiences I have been able to hold my position on top lane until level 6-7 without a need to head back to base).
Once recalled you should be able to start building The Brutilizer adding an increased cooldown, attack damage and armour penetration. As the game progresses grab Ionian Boots of Lucidity bringing your cooldowns to 29% around level 8-10.
Next on the list is Trinity Force, I suggest getting Phage first to minimise chances of your victim escaping, then leading into Zeal, then finishing Trinity Force.
After Trinity Force get Last Whisper for obvious reasons (Armour Penetration).
As the Fifth item take Zeke's Herald because you get 40% cool down and this would be bought towards the end of the match as you are going to be mostly in team fights which helps you and your team with more life steal and attack speed.
Last depending on if the opposition is quite tanky and you're having a problem get a Madred's Bloodrazor increasing your damage output.
Finally replacing The Brutilizer for Youmuu's Ghostblade.
Using this build should have your enemies fearing you!
