swain is not the best champ in the beginning of the match,but this build will show you how to use swain and deal really good amount of dmg in the beginning of the match. Swain is not a 1 hit massive dmg character BUT if u catch your opponent with nevermore that's when swain deals pain, after u cast nevermore then you would want to cast torment fallowed by decrepify. that will deal massive amount of dmg and will also give you back a large portion of your health back by having will of ancients as an item. If its hard for you to cast Nevermore try using decrepify,nevermore and then torment. This strategy wont deal as good dmg as the other one but for sure u will catch your opponent with nevermore. ALWAYS try getting the blue buff, swain with blue buff is just pure amazing, u can keep your ulti on for about 40% longer then you can normally have, that will give you great amount of health back including if you have will of the ancients, basically you are only going to recall to buy an item. and if you can take mid just take it swain is an amazing 1v1 character
