I agree with most of these, with the exception of the move quints. You're not taking them for the bonus AD, you're taking them mostly for the mobility; the AD is just the cherry on top. I do agree though that he's not nearly as effective a jungler as he initially seemed. I've found, along with a lot of people I've heard from, that he's a much better solo top. He can run from ganks like it's nobody's business, harass and sustain well enough as well, and if you can get into mid-game you just get to off-tank like a boss.

And you capture the exact essence of what I'm trying to say. Though I don't like him much for solo top, the healing cap on minions is very low, so the health you can get back from that is close to none. His harass though is very good, his sustain is average compared to other solo tops like lee sin and irelia.

The entire guide is a laning guide, I was just giving a single warning to any would-be junglers out there. I tried jungle Hecarim and it's alright, but not as good as other junglers out there. Not nearly as good. First, Movement Speed soft caps at 550, if I am not mistaken, meaning you lose out on 55% or so past that. The speed to AD ratio is not enough to stack speed quints. It is 25% at level 18.

I do recommend taking MR/tenacity boots as well if you feel it is necessary. When i play, I do not. Being slowed in a teamfight does not lower your effectiveness whatsoever as you SHOULD NOT RELY ON THE BONUS AD FROM SPEED. Ever. And your bonus AD can not go negative, so it is never a hindrance. Are you trying to run away in the center of a teamfight? Because then i'll understand you needing movement speed. It is NOT a huge reduction in damage, it's a reduction of maybe 10, 20 at the most.

Sorry really bored. Anyways an overall decent guide (seeing as it is new) although I was confused on whether it was jungle or lane guide. Personally I've been playing him as a jungler just because his ganks are freaking amazing. Try to make your guide a little clearer and I'm sure it will be one of the top guides for Hecarim.

That text wall was painful to read... Some formatting would help you, my friend. I'll assume you're rather new to this whole item thing and help you out...

Rylai's is AP. Why in the world would you ever build a solid AP item. Trinity Force gives the needed slow and has AD. Stay away from the AP. Frozen Heart is a good item if they have a AS carry. But again, this is NOT a TANK build, it is a BRUISER build. It is not "the more the merrier, lol". Is that justification for gimping yourself? For making yourself a worse player? No, it is not.
Your W will NOT keep you alive through getting focused, even if you stack AP. Which you should never be doing regardless -_-.

I have no qualms with Wriggle's. Good luck in your co-op vs AI games. Please don't play normal or ranked anything for at least 2 months, thanks.

So I'm not sure if this is a laning guide or a jungling guide because you mention that you have to get Devastating Charge while jungling or else. I'm going to assume it's a laning guide so wouldn't you rather take the full 4.5% movement speed from the quints to reach the max distance of Devastating Charge which hits like a b**** when full (I've seen mine reach about 600) quicker? And instead of boots of Lucidity why not take Mercury treads since you will be initiating and you WILL guaranteed be focused. That 35 Tenacity is wonderful. Plus, if you're being focused down you're also being slowed which is a huge reduction in damage. I manly jungle with Hecarim so I take MR p/Lvl Glyphs since it can build up fast enough. Also, as the initiator wouldn't you rather build something like Rylai's Crystal Scepter. I say Rylai's because it gives a nice little bit of health, it goes along great with your W which is a spell, and it has a nice little boost in damage for it. I mainly like it because of the slow but I haven't tested it enough to say it's manadatory. I guess it's just something nice. Frozen Heart's also nice but only for the armor and the CDR and AS reduction. That mana isn't really necessary but the more the merrier lol. I just think that as the initiator and pretty much tank. You want to give your team more time to focus other people down, no? If you're already pretty beefy why not make yourself even more. If you're completely absolutely surrounded and you press your W in a team fight you shouldn't die, lol. That W will keep you alive a long long time. It's on a bit of a long CD for the initiator but Frozen Heart can do the job pretty damn well, lol. My core is usually Mercury Treads, Trinity Force, and Wriggle's and build accordingly but that's just me Jungling. Anyways, that's my 10 cents lol.
