Thought I'd just make a quick build for the poppy hybrid build that I go, and have had definite success with lately. This is my first build-post on mobafire, if this build gets positive feedback (or any feedback for that matter). I'll put up a few more for my other champions.

***General***
To start, this build is certainly not for everyone. This is a hybrid build for poppy, getting AD, AP, AND tanking gear. The goal here is to start off strong with offensive items, and slowly work your way into late game with a tank build.

***Playstyle***
With this build you're going to want to play extremely aggressive the entire game, especially early on. Getting Devastating Blow first and mixing it with an early exhaust will get you first blood 8/10 times. Though, with this build, poppy is quite resilient; if you aren't the type to go for early ganks or if you are laned against someone nasty, you'll want to stay back until about level 4, which you should have FoD and be able to turn the tides on the lane with ease.

***Skills***
You're going to want to max out devastating blow first, switching off with heroic charge, and also getting PoD at level 4; this will help you to get early ganks. Keep in mind, Diplomatic Immunity can be used both, offensively and defensively. The damage increase can certainly ensure a kill at level 6, if you haven't been playing aggressively or your lane is being pushed. By around level 7 or 8 you should have your sheen if you decided to get sheen before boots, and from there it's smooth sailing for your first major item, Trinity Force.

***Items***
You're going to want to start with amp tome for the early +ap bonus for the early ganks. After that, you'll want to get boots around level 4 or so, just in time for you to have PoD. Afterwards, you can begin building your sheen. I normally get either merc boots before sheen if there is a strong caster in my lane that's giving me some trouble, or a hard disabler/slower; Otherwise, I get sheen before merc boots. About mid-game, you should be getting your Zeal, then phage, and then Trinity Force. At this point you should already be semi-farmed/fed, so for your next item, look to see the strongest members of the opposing team, if they are caster heavy - go for Banshee's Veil. If they are AD Heavy - go for Guardian Angel. For end-game final items, you can either get Lich Bane or Infinity Edge. Again, check to see what the opposing team has as far as magic resist vs armor goes, and make your decision from there. Either item will work great. At this point you can really get anything, but I suggest going Madreds or Zhonyas (Yes, I understand this late in the game, it's seems pointless, but that's the beauty of luxury items ;D).
