Introduction

This is my first guide so any tips or comments help out a lot. I first started playing Yorick about a month ago and couldn't find a guide that I liked so I thought I would make one on my own. Yorick is underplayed for how good he can be if played right.

Late game Yorick becomes pretty much unkillable as AD or Tanky due to his . This guide will explain how to use his spells and items to your advantage. Yorick can be a powerful solo or duo lane champion as well as a powerful tank using his as powerful damage or a Resurrection.

I chose to use these runes because all of Yorick skills scale from AD except his . Having gives Yorick healing and damage a boost. The gives Yorick armor for further sustainability. Having a mix of greater quintessence of desolation and gives Yorick damage as well as armor pen. Finally the gives Yorick added magic resistance to ward off AP champions.

The runes are pretty much the same for tanky and AD. The only major difference is instead of having bothgreater quintessence of desolation and Yorick is only using . This may sound weird but the extra strength gives Yorick extra healing from your .

Starting out with and Strike Through! will give you increased lane sustainability. Next time you return to the vender finish for more lane sustainability. Cool down reduction is a must for Yorick, it not only increases your damage but increases your sustainability from having it available more often. is next to increase your health and later your damage from . Next is pretty much self explanatory getting for more cool down reduction. Finally finish off your and your as well as getting to increase your sustainability and damage.

Skill Sequence

For the skills, is your self heal which gives you a lot of lane stability. The reason that I focus more on next is because in 1v1 fights Yorick does really well with slowing and healing while kiting a strong melee. Using can put high pressure on the opponent while healing yourself in the process. If you time your and together you can increase your ranged damage and never have to get in close until you decide the time is right to finish him off. If you are having trouble getting close to a ranged champion use your on a minion to increase your speed to get in range for and .

Summoner Spells

Okay, for the summoner spells I usually go with and . This is because when avoiding getting ganked you can a minion or even a champion and with the combination you are pretty much untouchable. For , I like to bait people with low health then use and to heal to almost full while killing them at the same time. This tactic works really well for team fights when baiting to a bush.
