Introduction to playing Malzahar, The Prophet of the Void
Hey, welcome to my guide to playing Malzahar, The Prophet of the Void. I have been using Malzahar as my main champion since I first started playing LoL. He's my favorite, and probably my best champion. When I was introduced by my best friend to LoL, I already had a knowledge of the game and the feel of the game because I've seen him play, but I had no idea of what each champion's abilities and powers. In any typical game, I love playing mage/casters. They're my thing and I'm just more comfortable in playing them and I usually perform better with mages. I especially favor dark mages, (purple ones are pimp) so when I found Malzhahar, that was a super win for me.
I first found Malz while I was playing my first normal game. During champion selection, I was wandering around going like "Huh?" then at the last 10 seconds of the timer, I freaked out and clicked on Malzahar. I stared at him until the time ran out. Malzahar seemed like an offensive caster which was the reason it took my attention, plus he's a purple mage. That's quite rare for a caster to look like a pimp and actually do great at the same time.
Malzahar's champion attributes are farmer, disabler, pet, nuke, ranged, mage.
Farmer-Malefic Visions bounces from an enemy target to a nearby one when the infected enemy target dies. Plus you get mana back, which is why he is classified as a farmer.
Disabler-Call of the Void silences enemy champions, what more to explain.
Pet-His passive duh?
Nuke-One of the highest damaging, if not, the highest damaging nuker in the game due to his very high AP ratios. Malzahar can even take out tanks fast because of Null Zone, which is another reason why Malzahar is helpful in a team.
Ranged-His attacks are ranged, what more to say?
Mage-I'll leave you to answer this one...
When I used him for the first time, boy was I confused. There's a reason why many people say he's a hard champion to use. It takes lots of practice through matches to put him to his full use. He is difficult to play but definitely a 6300 IP champion worth buying. In this guide, you will learn how to:
Now through the hundreds of games and hours I've played with him, I've learned to play him as a powerful AP carry champion.
Now, on with the show!
Pros and Cons of Malzahar
