Sounds arbitrarily, I know. Ok...Bla Bla I think a Jinx Guide doesn´t need a Intro ^^

Red: tips and tricks

Get Excited!|Passive

Whenever a champion or tower that Jinx has dealt damage to within the last 3 seconds is killed or destroyed, she gains 175% Movement Speed that decays over 4 seconds.

Use it to escape from Teamfight´s or escape from downed Turrets.

Switcheroo!|Q

TOGGLE OFF—POW-POW, THE MINIGUN: Jinx's basic attacks grant bonus attack speed for 2.5 seconds, stacking up to 3 times. The stacks decay one at a time when she stops attacking with her minigun.

Switching to her Rocket Launcher will not clear any active stacks, but they will not grant attack speed after her first attack.

COOLDOWN: 1

Max. it first. If u level it at begin you dont need some Attack Speed Items. The Attack Speed Bonus is insane.

TOGGLE ON—FISHBONES, THE ROCKET LAUNCHER: Jinx gains bonus attack range and deals 10% AD bonus damage on her attacks, at the cost of mana per attack.

Additionally, her attacks will splash to nearby enemies - dealing 110% AD to all enemies within ??-radius area. The bonus damage to her target and the splash damage both scale with critical strikes.

COOLDOWN: 1
COST: 20 MANA PER ATTACK
BONUS RANGE: 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 / 175

Dont waste your mana. Use it wisely. It´s a really good Wave clearer and it have a longer range then your Pow-Pow, the Minigun

Zap!|W

After a short delay, Jinx fires a shock blast that deals physical damage to the first enemy hit, also granting true sight and slowing it for 2 seconds.

RANGE: 1500
COOLDOWN: 10 / 9 / 8 / 7 / 6
COST: 45 / 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 MANA

Use it to check bushes, poke enemies and slow enemies

Flame Chompers!|E

Jinx tosses out 3 chompers that, once armed, explode on contact with enemy champions dealing magic damage over 1.5 seconds to nearby enemies. The champion that sets off the chomper is also rooted the same duration. Chompers explode automatically after 5 seconds.

RANGE: 950
COOLDOWN: 20 / 19 / 18 / 17 / 16
COST: 50 MANA

Use it to shut off the escape route

Super Mega Death Rocket!|R

Jinx fires a rocket that gains damage over the first second it travels. It explodes on the first enemy champion hit, dealing Physical Damage plus a percentage of the target's missing health. Nearby enemies take 80% damage.

RANGE: Global
COOLDOWN: 90 / 75 / 60
COST: 100 MANA

Switcheroo!

I think thats why the most people play Jinx. It´s really funny and something special to play with two guns at the same time.
Dont waste your Gold for to many Attack Speed Bonus. You dont need it. With Pow-Pow, the Minigun at level 5 and a Phantom Dancer you will have a 1,9 Attack Speed. And thats enough. Spend your Gold for damage Items.
Because I only buy damage Items at early and mid game, I must use my Pow-Pow, the Minigun in every fight. You need the extra Attack Speed. Only use Fishbones, the Rocket Launcher to farm or if you need a longer range.

Zap!

Zap! is a really nice slow and damage Skillshot. You can use it to poke your enemys, or to slow them. Extraordinary in teamfights. Poke your enemys before you fight.

Max it out second for a better slow and a lower CD. The reason why I dont level it at first is that the slow is good enough at level 1. And its not so easy to hit Zap! in lane. Minions will block it.

Flame Chompers!

If enemys walk on Flame Chompers!, they get stunned. They are only able to be stunned once.
Use it to shut off the escape route.

Max. it out last, because it makes magic damage and the stun time dont increase per level.

If you jungle comes or you just want to engage use flame chompers to root the enemys. But be carefull, its just an root and not a stun. The enemys can attack you while they are rooted.

Super Mega Death Rocket!

Super Mega Death Rocket! is in my opinion the best skill of Jinx. It makes tons of damage, have a global range and a short CD at level 18. Use it to win team fights and make surface damage. With my build order you don´t have attack speed, only attack damage. So your Super Mega Death Rocket! makes tons of damage. Thats another reason why I build Jinx without attack speed.

TIPP: Use it at the end of the teamfight, because it makes more damage when your enemys have missing health. And place it right to hit as much enemys as possible.

Item´s

Core Items:

Infinity Edge is a realy nice item for Jinx. The attack damage bonus and the crit chance are really nice in lane. Buy it as your first item.

Since patch 4.10 the Bloodthirster is a late game item. With Doran's Blade and a Vampiric Scepter you have nearly the same lifesteal as Bloodthirster. The shield is very nice for late game fights but in early its nearly useless. Cleanse a CC-Spell is much powerfull in early game.

Statikk Shiv vs. Phantom Dancer:

Just the best early attack speed and crit item for Jinx. With the passive of Statikk Shiv you will kill enemys faster. Its really good for the early and mid game. Take it as 3rd item.

If you bought Statikk Shiv in early game, sell it in late game and buy Phantom Dancer. Its the better late game attack speed item for Jinx. The additional crit chance is much better than Statikk Shiv´s passive in late game.

Defensiv Items:

Guardian Angel is good if you are the important player on your team. It revives your Champion upon death, restoring 30% of your maximum Health and Mana, but this effect can only occur once every 5 minutes.

The passiv of Banshee's Veil is good on Jinx, because it can save your life if your opponent wants to catch you with cc spells or something. The +health and +MR are good against heavy Ap Teams.

How to lane with Jinx

Jinx is a very cool harassing champion. With her Switcheroo! she can harass enemys easily without taking damage. Everytime when the enemy adc comes near to kill a minion, hit him with Jinx´s rocket´s. But dont forget to last hit. Last hitting is much important than harassing. Only harass if you cant make last hits at the moment. Harassing is really important to zone the enemy adc.

Dont forget your Trinket and use it everytime you can.

What you should do in Lane:
  1. Last Hitting
  2. Harrass your enemy
  3. Play safe
  4. Play for farm, not for kills
  5. make it difficult to farm for the opponents
Dont flame if your support fails. Just be polite and play! If you start flaming you will loose the game. Have fun , its just a game !

Mid-Game

I think Jinx is really niec in mid game. Now she has her full attack speed bonus from Pow-Pow, the Minigun and her nice Ultimate Super Mega Death Rocket!.

Now you should engage with your support. Fight with your support and push back the enemy team. Zone the enemy AD-Carry that you can farm better. And dont forget to ward. Help your support warding bot. Jinx has no escape spell and when you see the enemy jungler early, you can slow him with your Zap!.

And dont be affraid of ganking mid. You have a stun and a slow. And maybe your support too.

Easy to gank

Hard to gank

Late-Game

In late game you must be carefull. Jinx has no escape spell to flee from assasins like Talon, Rengar or Zed. Stay with your support and tank. Communicate with them and tell them that they must protect you. They cant fight without you.

No protection + bad positioning = GG

Jinx isn´t the best late game AD-Carry. She cant keep up with Vayne or Kog'Maw, but she makes much damage and have a nice Ultimate to dominate fights.

Especially with Jarvan IV´s Ult or Oriannas.
