Hello mobafire users this is my first build on this website hopefully you enjoy is. This is my build i use for solo top. I'd really appreciate constructive feedback and criticism on how to improve this.

Pros

+Jax does awesome damage early and late game
+Can ward jump
+Does better in longer fights cause of passive

The rest your with caution.

First i like to start with Boots and 3 Health Potion. After a bit of farming the first time you go back you should get Wriggle's Lantern. This items allow you to farm better plus a free ward every 3 minutes. If you can buy Mercury Treads or Ninja Tabi depending on the other team comp. After you getting a few kills you should go back and buy a Hextech Gunblade. One you can go back buy a Trinity Force and a Hexdrinker. Late game you should have a Maw of Malmortius, and a Warmog's Armor plus a Atma's Impaler.

1v1 TeamFights - Leap Strike is a amazing skill Jax has. To some it down you can jump to allies and, enemy's. Get this skill and level 1 and max it by level 12.
- Empower This is jax's primary source of damage i would put a point on this skill at level 3 and max it by level 13.
- Counter Strike is a really viable stun while doing damage late game it works as a dodge. I would take this skill at level 2 and max it last.
- Master-At-Armsis a awesome ultimate while giving you extra armor and magic resists every 3 hits gives you a nuke that if time correctly with Empower and Leap Strike gives you awesome damage in one hit.

If you feel that you are really lacking attack speed, get this item, not Phantom Dancer. The reason for this item over Phantom Dancer is that it helps Jax not only with straight-on attack speed, but it gives him a massive increase in damage.
This item not only gives you a nice amount of ability power AND attack damage (making it a great hybrid item), but it also gives a useful unique passive that allows Jax to stack ability power as he attacks. A great ability if you ask me, and it allows Jax to dominate whenever he fights an enemy champion. It is also not too expensive either, so make sure to pick it up!

This can get Jax out of harms was if placed correctly or it can improve your position offensively or defensively. Play Video

To sum this build build Jax is my favorite champion to play and i really suggest you try him out.
