Introduction: To the man of the hour

I am relatively new to playing this game, but i have taken a liking to the character pantheon. He is a bit squishy, but with a bit of timing and precision you can be a force to be reckoned with.

Guide Top

Phazes: I've allways wanted to be a...

I've played pantheon both in mid and on side lanes. Both phases start out relatively similar, and then lead to branch offs that require a bit of communication.

Mid:
from level 1-5 you concentrate on pestering your opponent, with Spear Shot. The opponent is usually a carry, so be careful not to over commit. At level 6, communicate with your team mates to have someone else cover middle, teleport to base, upgrade what you can. Communicate with one side, to make sure that they know who you are targetting, allow the opponent to get a little confident, then the three of you can target one down. This will be a pattern from level 6- about 15. Once at level 15, concentrait on laning with a partner push down turrets, do not turret dive (warning: he has a "block" on turrets but is very squishy to turrets). At level 15-18 you should have most of your build completed, and be taking part on team fights.

Bot/top:
Same as before 1-5 you and your team mate keep the pressure on. At level 6, pin point a target and take it out with the help of your team by communicating where and when you will strike. Assist the middle as much as possible. Punish their carry and you'll score a win.

During team fights:
Utilize your huge spike damage to your advantage to instantly make your opponents team to a 4 vs 5 disadvantage. With your large Armor pen, you do not need to hesitate hitting the opposing teams tank, however, aiming for sqwishy support is more rewarding.
In team fights:
1. Support characters.
2. Squishy assassin/ Mage/ Melee dps characters
3. Tank

In team fights, you are not a good initiator as you are squishy, and can be focus shot down quickly. Let the tank initiate, and utilize your tanks target as your primary target as well.

Skill Sequence: They will Fall at the end of my Spear.

As far as damage goes i will go over each ability rotation:
At level 1 you will have this:
Spear Shot: Toss your spear at a range opponent doing base damage + additional 100% of your physical damage. Utilize this to pester your opponents, dealing damage and forcing your opponents to retreat. The low cooldown makes it perfect for early game harassing.

At level 2 you will have this:
Spear Shot: Same as before.
Spear Shot-> Aegis of Zonea: This will allow, if timed right, a spear and a shield hitting at the same time. Doing effectively 2x a normal physical damage at once. If timed with your team mate can quickly net a early kill, if by yourself will force your opponent to retreat and hopefully enough time to get a 3rd spear shot off.

At level 3 you will have this:
Spear Shot: Same as before.
Spear Shot-> Aegis of Zonea: Same as before.
Spear Shot-> Aegis of Zonea-> Heartseaker Strike-> Spear shot: This early on will drain most of your mana, but will net you a quick painless kill. Doing damage, and once at 15% your opponent takes a crit from your Spear Shot, and perhaps your refreshed Aegis of Zonea.

At level 6 and on:
You have more viability and usefulness to the team. Scout around, notice your oponents being weak and when they retreat:
All 3 previous are exactly the same, except for:
Grand Skyfall->Spear Shot-> Aegis of Zonea-> Heartseeker strike-> Spear shot

If your oponent takes a hit from Grand Skyfall standing in the middle of the sky fall and you perform everything as stated there is no reason that they should not be dead.

Do not: Grand Skyfall into a group of oponents greater than 2.
Do not: Grand Skyfall between 2 turrets or turret jump with grand skyfall unless you have 100% guarantee that your teammates got your back.
Do not: Grand Skyfall at less than 20% health

Summoner Spells: Run? There is no where to run...

I picked Ghost and Exaust: both of these will push your chance towards a kill, and survival.
Use exhaust on an oponent to get a few extra hits on them, as well as use ghost to chase after them and perhaps grasp a double kill. if you are lucky.

Other possibilities:
Heal: incase you want to survive longer
Clarity: incase you want to replace manamune
Scorch: a good ability to replace one of the 2
Teleport: incase you want to be everywherez!

Items: I use a my Spear and my shield...

Amoung other things...
The boots can be anything you so choose, but do not build the attack speed increase boots, panths attack is slower than most champs, 10% of slower=still slow. This is why i wait till later game to upgrade them, so that i can scope out my opponents.
Frozen mallet for survivabilty and added kill.

Team Work: Team? I'm a one man army...

No, you arn't panth but seriously:

Masteries: My Strength is in my blood...

Specked a physical damage/damage reduction build emphasis on physical damage (21,9,0).
However you can split into utility if you are hurting for mana regen (21,5,4 or 21,4,5)

Your choice.

Guide Top

Pros / Cons: Yes, A baker.

Pros:
You really are the artisan of war early game:
-Early kills
-Quick closing in for those early kills.
You can build for utility
You have a great teleport ability that has damage as well.
Cons:
Late game you lose your spark.
Grand Skyfall is very avoidable.
Easily focussed
