This is how i like to play pantheon and how i find him most effective. You will be able to farm your way through earlygame easily by lasthitting minions and harassing your opponent at top lane. Your stun lets you take out those annoying carries as well as that feeded mid hero. You will be a lategame asset to your team.

Many people may find this wierd, just because i don't build the Bloodthirster earlier, and that is simply because it's not needed earlier. The damage from manamune, atmas impaler and frozen malet is more then enough to take down a carry, aswell as being a great asset in teamfights. Your ulti will divide the enemy team, and when that happends, you simply jump their carry and he is dead! Try the build, i'm sure you will find it rather good actually.

You want to start out with the meki pedant, and ASAP buy the Tear Of Goddess, coz of this, you will constantly be able to harass and last hit the minions with ur Q. And that will later mean that you will build your items fast, so you can carry your team in fights.

As for lategame, if you feel that you need magic resist aswell as armor, build, Negatron Cloak and Chain vest, before continuing with ur Atmas impaler, This will decrease your damage output for a few min but it will alow you to stay in fights longer and become even tankier, how you decide to build it, dosn't really matter, aslong as you make sure to get Atmas impaler, for the damage.

Teleport is great for farming minions and staying at ur lane. You want to use this spell right after you have bought the Tear Of The Goddes, after this you won't go out of mana anytime during the rest of the game. And then use it to get back to ur lane after buying shoes and mananu.

Flash, simply for its great for escaping and hunting down those opponents. Although your range on W is quite long wich makes you stun your opponents with alot of range.

I max out my Q spell as soon as possibly, simply because its great for farming and harassing your opponent. I then MAX my E spell, because its dmg increases for everytime u specc on it. But the W spell dosn't have increased stun time, so i can might aswell leave it on rank 1 untill i have maxed out my other abilities.

+ Very tanky build that still lets you use ur mana and hp to gain alot of AD.
+ Great for ganking/initiating fights.
+ Can incapacitate the enemy carry easy.

+ Ad+Tanky, wich means that you will be agreat asset for your team.

- Quite hard to take out tanks
-The damage output will be somehow low those 5 minutes before you get your bloodthirster, since its 1650 to farm up for B.F Sword.

I simply love using tank runes, i use tank runes for pretty much all my solotop chars, and this rune setup is perfect for pantheon, because Manamune gives me the mana i need ingama, i can focus on tank runes, aswell as health runes.

All You need to do is fall back, and last hit the minions with your Q = spear, aswell as harass your opponent, with the combo i will show you on the next chapter, and im sure you will your opponent crazy!..............

Pantheon is a pure nuker when it comes to teamfights. Make sure you talk to your team before the match. Try to have your tanky jungler engage the teamfight, and when you se an opening, simply engage with your Ultimate and jump onto their adcarry and he will probably be dead.

As for fighting 1v1 on top lane, you just harass him with Q, and when you see an opening, just use this combo.

Open with Q, then jump onto him with W, When he is stunned, use E, At this point, he will probably fall back, then toss a spear = Q on him again. This combo will deal a quite high amount of damage, and used alot, and at right times, your opponent is going to have to fall back to base a few times, aswell as spend money on potions.

A few characters you don't want to face at your top lane is Yorick, simply because Yorrick never dies, you will still manage to farm creeps well, but he just won't die.
Rumble is also an opponent that you don't want do face. His flamethrower will give him push, wich will make him an easy target for ganks, but he will ruin your chances of geting farmed by creeps.

Pantheon works extemly well with some certain teammates. The jungler you want to have in your team is amumu. Amumus ulti synced with Pantheons ulti is one of the most deadliest weapons in the whole game. And on top of that, a missfortune firing her ulti, The team youre facing will be pretty much be dead after that combo.

Now i will go through everything, in a short version, for those who don't want/don't have the time to read through everything.

Early game: Stay back as much as you can and last hit minions and harass your opponent with your Q spell. Use the combo to harass him when the oppurtunity is given.
Mid: Try to stay in your lane as long as you can, Teleport/Ultimate allows you to get to where your team is fighting quickly, aswell as get back to your lane.

Late game: Use your ultimate to initiate synced with your jungler, and then dive their carry, and he will be daed, then move on to their mid/ whoever has the most damage. The tank items will make it easy for you to stay in the fight aswell as deal out those high hits.
