This is my first build so bear with me. Pantheon is a very interesting champ because he can be built so many different ways each with its pros and cons. Ive seen pure AD builds, pure Attack speed, tanking, and combos. I believe in the combo theory. When i first started playing Panth i went the AD path and found i could kill anyone real easy but if I got targeted in a team fight I was dead in seconds. So i did some research and came up with this beauty. Pretty much making Pantheon able to tank mad damage while still destroying the opposing teams carries and even forces tanks to run. And now on to the build....

Pros:
Able to take a lot of damage
Can kill anyone if fed
Impossible to end with a negative K/D
Pretty much the combo of Leonidas and Achilles
Strong Early-Late Game

Cons:
Always targeted in team fights
Mana hungry early
Needs to be fed early

Greater Mark of Desolationx9- Tearing through the other teams armor helps a lot to get kills early game and even a bit late game
Greater Quintessence of Desolationx3-Same as above
Greater Seal of Evasionx9-I think this is key for any melee DPS champ
Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reductionx9- the more Heartseekers you can get off the more champs will fall in front of you


For newer Pantheon players I can see switching the CDR for Mana Regen but I've personally never had a real problem if you conserve mana for champs in the the early game and not for farming.

21/9/0 pretty basic added Damage since the build does have a few defensive items and the move speed buff post dodge is awesome.

I start out with a Long Sword and health pot. the sword is good for getting early kills from your spear added with exhaust. I go back to buy more items after lvl 6 and buy my boots Ninja Tabi or Mercury Treads depending on how the other team is built. I also try to get the The Brutalizer at this point. Now next we build for our Warmog's Armor and as soon as we get it go creep hunting to get the added Health and Health Regen. Our next purchase is Atma's Impaler to get AD from our Warmog's. Now from here I build depending on team need and what the other team is throwing at us. Bloodthirster is great for the 100 AD and some Lifesteal always helps in survivability. If you find your team needs a tank or your still going down pretty easy I buy Frozen Mallet for the added Health and slow effect. If your doing fine I'd buy Black Cleaver next. i think this is one of the best items in the game. You get attack speed, some damage and armor pen. If the other team is stacking Armor this is a must. For my final item i sell The Brutalizer and buy an Infinity Edge which works amazing with your Heartseeker Strike passive.

Start out with your Spear and Aegis. Than max out Heartseeker while putting a point in Grand Skyfall when available. Next you'll want to max out your spear and finally Aegis.

I find that Flash is the best spell n the game. Its great for chasing and running out of a tough situation. I never leave home without it. My other spell is Exhaust which gets me a first blood almost every game.

Other Options:
Ghost- if you are newer to Pantheon and constantly put yourself in danger this can help get out. I find that since Pantheon is a naturally faster champ I dont need it.
Ignite- A lot of people use ignite and it can be great for dropping a running champ with no helth but I find I dont remember to use it enough to make it really useful for my play style.

Dont Even Think About It:
Just about anything else. You wont need Teleport because i use my ult as a teleport that does damage. Clarity and Heal are good if you are real new to LoL but Pantheon is a killer and these just don't help me kill enough to find any use for them. Revive assumes your gonna die a lot and at that point you should just quit cause you've already lost. Leave the rest of the summoner spells for your support Pantheon has one goal in mind and that is to kill.

With this build and played right you'll find that Pantheon is the least squishiest "squishy" in the game. I rarely die more than 5 times and can push my kills into the 20's in any game. Pantheon is a lot of fun to play and as soon as you one shot an Annie with Heartseeker you'll feel like a new man.
