Pantheon was the first champion I ever purchased, and likewise, this is the first Guide I have ever done. If you ever want to deal insane amounts of damage to your opponents (even if they have high armor), be sure to choose Pantheon as well as this build.

As expressed in the title, DPS is the main influential factor in this build. However, it would be foolish to not include armor. If you want more armor than the two quintessences, you can still have a Pantheon that deals insane amounts of damage if you put some mastery points in defense, and had more non-quintessence runes based in armor as well.

After toying around with many other combinations, I decided that this build has the highest damage output. I ALWAYS start off with Beserker's Grieves, however, the second item may be changed. You can go two ways with it: If your opponent has seemingly too much armor, then buy last whisper second. If not, then go with the build as it is described above. However, it is very important that if you buy Last Whisper second, you must buy Vampiric Scepter before going on to Youmuu's Ghostblade. The bottom line is, armor penetration early on is key.

Many people buy Spear Shot first and then Aegis of Zeonia, however, more likely than not, your lane partner will not have a stun. But if they do, be sure to have your first skill point be in Spear Shot, and your fourth in Heartseeker Strike.

Damage and critical strike chance can be replaced in masteries and runes, but NEVER replace any of the items with items containing armor. The items must always stay the same if you want the best Pantheon DPS build out there.
