As much as I like that there are soo many guides with so much detail and so much information about different champs.

I personally feel that no one has that much time reading a whole article.

I would make this guide as short as possible so that everyone can see and fast understand what's good and go on to the game to learn more by their experiences there.

MAJOR TIP to most players winning

Try your best to get 100 cs in 10 mins and work your way up from there ^_^

If you want to be a better player learn a way of farming ok ^_^
Early Game
This is the main phase for farming. Many champions have abilities which aid farming, either by making it easier to land the killing hit (eg. Annie Annie's Disintegrate), or by granting extra gold, such as Gangplank Gangplank's Parrrley or Twisted Fate Twisted Fate's Loaded Dice.

It is harder to get CS when your lane is pushed to your tower, since the turret's attacks are stronger than your own, causing it to kill many minions. On the other hand, you can push the lane to the opponent's tower, where they will lose CS. However, this is risky, as it opens the lane up to ganks.


Mid Game
When teamfights begin, gold will come from killing champions, lane minions, and clearing the jungle monster camps. When possible, lanes can still be farmed, though your absence can hurt your team in a teamfight.


Late Game
Now the game will mainly focus on teamfights, meaning that farming is secondary. Despite this, minion waves will slowly accumulate (usually in side lanes where teamfights are not taking place). These can provide large gold/experience boosts, though as stated before, your absence can potentially hurt your team.

(this method is for players who know 100% their q will 100% be on target however I still recommend leveling up e first to get to mid game where lux's power increases.

LETS GET STARTED WITH OUR LUXANNA COMBOS

LUXANNA Passive :
Illumination

Illumination is Lux's passive. This basically marks (champion, monster, minions) so that her auto attacks would deal extra damage. Her Ultimate also detonates this passive. (which will be shown later) Remember that this passive lasts for 6 seconds so it procs the thunderlords passive but only if you can execute it in 2 seconds (but that will be explained later ^_^)

^ as you can see these beautiful stars are lux's passive so by hitting them with normal attack or using Final Spark (her ultimate R) you can detonate them ^_^

Lux's q :
Light binding


This is Lux's main item for initiating or disengaging fights. This ability is very important because this is the only ability that differ from a godly lux player and a new rookie lux player.

Always remember ^_^ lux q can be hit to 2 units. So it is important that you try your best to stun 2 units if possible. ^_^


When you perfect lux's q Light binding you can make some awesome plays like this one ^_^

Lux's W :
Prismatic Barrier

This ability is a shield that Lux throws in a straight direction that comes back as well. This ability is sometimes the reason I personally do so well in lanes. Just that small second in which, I'm about to die I can use this ability to save myself OR in important situations where you need to shield all of your allies you can use it. If everyone is in a line, this shield will affect everyone and is perfect for survivability.


As you can see it goes forward first then comes back so using this ability with teammates is very important to make sure you can protect them.





Lux's E :
Lucent Singularity

This ability is the reason I believe lux is so amazing. This ability is used for zoning, farming, checking in bushes, slowing and even making plays.

Making sure that you can combo your enemy using your q first then e. If you want to be more aggressive, try your best to proc the passive of q then proc another passive of e.







Lux Ultimate R :
FINAL SPARK



This ^ IS THE REASON LUX is the best champ for me XD It used to be called Finales Funiken but then I think it was too hard name to pronounce hehe ^_^

Final spark range is 3000. thats a lot XD


The combo power of Q E R is so much that it can easily kill adc in an instant ^_^







When you become a pro at luxanna THEN YOU WILL DO MAGICAL THINGS LIKE THIS ^_^

If you want to know how to perfectly execute a combo there are 2 methods of doing that.

Either you can smart cast your qwer so that without indicator the moment you press your key the ability is executed.

Or

You can put quick cast with an indicator (I personally chose this because sometimes I don't know how long lux Ultimate range is so that is why it is more easier for me to snipe my enemies from far

MID SEASON MAGE UPDATES AND ITEM UPDATES O.O @.@

Item Change
Tear Passive: refunds portion of mana costs. Keeps old passives. No mana regen.

Catalyst New passive: Portion of damage taken restores mana. Spending mana restores HP to a cap

Chalice New passive: gives HP regen if health % is lower than mana %. Vice versa.

Mage champions: Champion Change

Annie Annie has stun resource bar. Her E lasts 3 seconds and gives % damage reduction. Her R does less damage and less aura, but high damage autos. Tibbers enrages when Annie initially summons him, stuns a champion or dies, making him gain 275% bonus AS and 100% MS decaying over 3 seconds.

Swain Q now target location rather than target unit

Fiddlesticks Passive is now he gets bonus MS after standing still

Ziggs W executes turrets below a certain amount of HP

Syndra Passive: More balls. Grab more balls.

Anivia Ult grows in size. More damage when max size.

Xerath More ult shots with more levels in ult.

Veigar Passive: Gain ap from hitting people with spells, killing minions, and takedowns. Ult does less damage but increases based on enemy's missing HP. Doesn't scale off enemy AP

If readers are here to see why i have chosen my masteries runes to discuss

HELLOOO ^_^ everyone ^_^

I don't like giving a big article about what I believe is right or wrong because everyone have different playstyles.

NOW LETS GET STARTED WITH MASTERIES!!!!!!!! because items is a long and annoying process that is based on every game and based on the situation.

FEROCITY TREE (used to be called offense)
Tier 1 //
<-- i dont need to talk about this because this item is straight forward XD.

Tier 2 //
,-- feast vs <-- expose weakness

    These two will cause some different opinions but i chose Expose weakness for 1 reason.
    "Damaging enemy champions causes them to take 3% more damage from your allies."
    This is very good against feast because feast has 30s cooldown and only gives 20 health per unit. [UPDATED]
    Because we are playing Lux we dont care if we get kills or assist what is important is if our decisions are influencing and helping our teammates get fed and in turn will help us win the game or not.
Tier 3 //
<-- vampirism vs <-- natural talent

    I know many people would not agree with me and why should they why would you buy life steal or spell vamp 20% on lux? Doesnt make sense

    Rather I should be getting natural talent mastery and have a better scaling of attack dmg and ability power. right?

    Well to be honest. I chose the spell vamp because i feel in situations where i can get die or almost die.

    If i 1 vs 1 with someone and our health is fairly low, i would prefer having that small chance of spell vamp and life steal at my side so that i can gain health back. Yes it is very small i know but better to be safe then sorry XD also it goes great with
<-- dangerous game


Tier 4 //
<-- bounty hunter vs <-- oppressor

    Both are great in different scenarios. As a lux i know that my combo will kill the enemy so getting that 1% for every unique champion i kill is pretty good because it increases percentage.
    But if you rely more on your stuns, snares, slows then the other master is also viable because that gives 2.5% to champions then oppressor mastery is for you.

    In both scenarios both masteries are good.
CUNNING TREE
Tier 1 //
<-- savagery

This mastery is fairly simple and is your mastery in helping you deal more more damage to minions and monsters.

The other mastery is not viable because farming is more important then speed at this moment.


Tier 2 //
<-- runic affinity vs <-- secret stash vs <-- assassin

HMMM XD a very discussing topic that will make everyone talk about this for many years to come (hopefully) lol.

SO lets start XD

    Runic affinity: buff lastes 15% more longer. "Great on lux right?" Yes and no. in my opinion i feel that this item is good but i dont choose this because of only the assassin mastery.
    Secret stash is a good and safe mastery for in lane sustainability. potion, elixers and flasks last 10% longer and give you a cookie. A COOKIE (END OF DISCUSSION XD lol) that restores 20 health and 10 mana on consumption.

    However i still did not choose this mastery because i feel the assassin mastery is just overpowered.
    ASSASSIN MASTERY: DEAL 2% INCREASED DAMAGE to enemy champions when no allied champions are nearby.
    Now why this mastery ^ ? simple. 2% increased damage + thunderlord proc. We are solo mid lane most of the time anyways.
    And to make more helpful we need to be a burster who can combo kill our enemies. It is important for a lux to see an opportunity and take it. If an enemy is standing waiting for his cooldown to come back we need to make a decision to take him/her/it down and make our combo count and this mastery will give us that extra 2% damage to achieve it.

    (wow what a mighty and powerful speech haha XD)
Tier 3 //
<-- merciless vs <--- medidtation.

    This is fairy simple (to me) because as a lux player we want to get kills and assists. We dont care about if we have less mana or not because we have items such as athene's unholy grail, tear of goddess or blue buff.
    So merciless mastery wins in this tier because deals 5% more damage to enemies below 40% health.
Tier 4 //
<-- bandit vs <-- dangerous game.

    Dangerous game is more better for lux because getting kills and assists will restore 5% of your missing health and mana.
    This is more better then the bandit mastery because we need a mastery that helps us survive in tough situations.
Tier 5 //
<-- precision vs <-- intelligence

    This is a tough situation to be in because both masteries are good in both ways.
    Precision is a great mastery for lux because we gain armor and magic penetration. This is very crucial early game because our enemies will have runes that have magic resist and armor, so having this mastery is very viable for lux. I chose this mastery for that reason.
    however the intelligence mastery is just pure awesome. To get 45% cdr and 5% cooldown reduction (cdr) when you start the game is really good because the more we can cast spells the more amount of damage and combos we can do.
    I dont choose ^ this because of 1 some reasons, when many people choose intelligence mastery they end up loosing more mana in the process because they want to spam it.
    I always use the precision mastery and im doing well in my games because i dont spam that often and leave it to opportunity rather then making opportunities.
    In both scenarios both are good and personal comfortability matters so choosing what mastery "Works" for you matters in its own way.
Tier 6 //
<-- stormraiders surge vs
<-- thunderlords decree vs <-- windspeakers blessing

    this stormraiders is straightforward a mastery not to choose because we are not going to use a mastery that gives us movement speed when we deal 30% of a champion health will give us40% movement speed and slow resist but this is more for an assassin champion rather then lux.
    windspeakers blessing is a good mastery cause it gives us heals and shields 10% stronger ad gives lots of armor when we heal or shield our partners but this is more of a support mastery but i would not even recommend this mastery for support lux cause thunderlords decree is just too powerful.
    Thunderlords decree is just powerful because your 3rd spell or attack will give a shock around that champion dealing 10 damage per level + 30% of your ad (attack damage) and 10% of your ap (ability power) to enemies in that area.
    lux is perfect for this mastery because with illumation (lux's passive) we can proc this item on 1 of our ability. If we light binding (q) 1 person, it will proc the illumination so we just proc the thunderlords with our attack. Look at this video to see how this happens.
    ^ now what we saw here was when lux light binded graves her first spell of thunderlords decree was initiated (meaning needed 2 more hits or spells).
    BUT because lux passive is illumination THE SECOND PROC WAS ACTIVATED.
    NOW ALL Lux needs is to do 2 things.
    Either normal attack or KILL IN STYLE BY USING ULTIMATE FINAL SPARK!!!!!!
    (ps. for your information hehe) That purple lighting is the thunderlords decree.
    now you all know why i love LUXANNA.

NOW LETS GET STARTED WITH RUNES

I AM USING

    THERE are so many runes to choose from but i picked the best and most viable for lux and in different situations

  • Greater Quintessence of Ability Power: I choose 3 greater quintessence of ability power because it gives +4.95 ability power so multiply by 3 = 14.85 ap = 15 ap.
      This is good because this means at starting of game lux will have a good amount of ability power that is not including the masteries.

      Another choice of runes is greater of quintessence of "scaling ability power" which is that it will give 7.74 ability power AT LEVEL 18. This means 7.74 multiply by 3 = 23.22 = 23 ability power AT LEVEL 18.

      I prefer quintessence of ability power because we need to do damage early and get kills or assists. Most games in low tier dont go to level 18 and we need to always start off more ap to be better in early. Our items can compensate later into the game but early we have none so i prefer the quintessence of ability power.

    • Greater Mark of Magic Penetration: On lux this mark is good because it give 0.87 magic pen so multiply by 9 = 7.83 = 8 magic pen.
        this is good for lux because we have ability power already so we dont need more rather we need to break enemy's runes of magic resist.

        Marks of magic penetration are essential for mid laners so that their enemy doesnt rush magic resist and mid laners are useless. Most players in mid lane dont buy magic penetration until their 3rd item. This pic in marks is usually standard and most pro players use this mark.
    • Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist: We need magic resist so that our ap mid laners who we are matched up with cannot easily kill us with their ap.
        As lux it is very important to have magic resist because we need to make sure we dont get shut down by our other enemies (mostly ap mid laners) 0.17 x 9 = 1.71 but because it scales with level 3 x 9 = 27 magic resist

        Now like the other ones i will use the . . . . (looks at what i use on my runes) . . . . . umm scaling magic resist . . . . . ummm . . . scaling . . . . . hmmm ok i did not realize this XD. OK so basically at lvl 18 we get a total of 27 magic resit with scaling magic resist gylph

        However with the other glyph of magic resist 1.34 x 9 = 12.06 = 12 magic resist. in this scenario we would have to be level 13 to make it similar to the scaling magic resist.

        Pro players choose this because they always get to level 18 in 20 minutes however for us normal players the case and scenario is different.

        I guess in overall i will choose this glyph that offer more magic resist because i feel that i would get more magic resist with scaling glyph then normal.
    • Greater Seal of Health: The more health we have the better it is to sustain for us however we can only get 6. 8 health x 6 = 48 health
        Now you might be asking, "but unknownkitty why 8 health with 6 seal of health? why not 8 heath with 9?". Its pretty simple actually. When we have health the problem is that we also need armor to protect us. If people have only health then it will deal damage but armor stops that damage from hurting a lot. Armor is as crucial as health so we need to keep a normal balanced way to get good of both seals.
    • Greater Seal of Armor: Armor is important on lux as health is as well. 1 armor x 3 = 3 armor
        ummm this is a little different now. Because we are getting 1 armor that means only 9 armor is not as powerful as getting 8 x 9 = 72 health.

        I would still say have some armor but that is your choice ^_^

Discussion of SUMMONER SPELLS

SUMMONER SPELLS
FLASH
    AHHHHh The most used summoner spell in the history of league. The glorious flash Either on D key or F key.
    This spell is used for opportunity combos, jukes (op plays), getting out of hard situations and especially getting over terrain that cannot be passed by normal dashes and other abilites but because lux has none of those abilities it is our important escape tool.
    I amazing thing about lux is that you always will have a safety ability and that is our q (light binding) Because it stuns 2 people or units in a row it is perfect for someone who is chasing us.

    ^ This is a juke because varus is thinking oh Quinn is in the dragon pit HOWEVER she flashed for the bush and it acted like she flashed in the dragon pit. A very clever way of using your flash summoner spell.

    ^However this is a dangerous way of using a flash because in this scenario sometimes you can get caught. I would recommend using flash in places where they cannot catch up.

    But NOT EVERYONE CAN FLASH PROPERLY NOT EVEN THE BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD FAKER.

^ which shows even pro players mess up on flashes in tough situations.

HEAL

    ahhhh my favourite summoner spell on lux. Yes you heard me right!!! I find heal so perfect on lux because i want to have sustainability and safety in the early stages of the game. This spell on active gives 95-345 health and 30% movement speed. Perfect for lux so that she stay safe in lane and if she is about to die use it so she doesn't and save yourself from loosing a stack on dark seal ^_^
    Another positive thing is that this can also be used to heal teammates if they are in danger and near lux radius. We can come to gank bot and if we see they are in danger we can use our heal to give the that little life so that they can stay alive and even turn the tide and come up with a kill instead of dying if we were not there.

^ HERE IS AN EXCELLENT way of using heal see how ezreal saved swain by that little heal!!! ^_^ AMAZING
    Sometimes we need to catch up with almost dead enemies and heal can also provide that extra movement speed we need in order to get the kill.
TELEPORT

    Teleport is one of those spells that professional (pro) players use because it gives them that extra time to come to team fights and help the team.
    Sadly teleport does not work well in a place where there is solo que. But if you are with a partner it is more easier to make plays with it.
    most people go for the double teleporting which is very viable.
    ^ this is just amazing but very hard to execute because both players need to press the teleport key button D or F at the same time and on that same ward.
    But if executed properly it leads to amazing results. However because i want to play passive i dont need a teleport so goes against my ways of playing it safe in the early match ups.
    However teleport is a safe way to play lux and make plays but at a cost so you can choose this summoner spell but always use it as a backfoot item and not a frontfoot. By backfoot i mean that if you are loosing in lane and about to die go back and teleport to mid turret.
    frontfoot means to use the teleport in a situation that could get you killed in the process. For example if you are half life and say ohh bot is low ill tp on ward, you do tp but end up going in 1 vs 4 because your bot lane had already pressed back and are at base. ALWAYS choose wisely where and how to proceed.
IGNITE

    AH THE EVIL hand of fire the ignite of killing power. Yes can you believe it that so many players choose this ignite and why do i not use it?
    Yes it has great potential for making sure that my full combo will 100% guarantee the kill because even if the enemy has almost little life remaining this summoner spell will burn his life and even his health pots will not assist him.
    YES BUT I am super safe and getting ignite on my Luxanna is just asking for trouble. It is showing that i will be playing an aggressive mid laner and that is the total opposite of what i want to do.
    My focus is not to go close to an enemy and combo them from a close range where they can also combo me back. Lux excels at killing enemies from far with her combo. Why would i take a spell that would make it dangerous for me to survive if i am trying to fight a scenario where i know i have a 50% ratio of dying to that champion. NO I WILL NEVER CHOOSE IGNITE ON LUX!!! because it is not my way and i need to stack my items so that i can show how powerful i can become without the ignite summoner spell.
    BUTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone please listen. Passive lux i have been playing so much that i have perfected her. I feel uncomfortable playing an agressive style when i know that i will always win when im playing passive lux. This game is all about comfortability and how each person can know the limits of their champions. ALWAYS REMEMBER: PLAY WITH SOMEONE WHO YOU KNOW YOU CAN CARRY AND PLAY WITH SOMEONE WHO YOU KNOW YOU CAN TEST HIS/HER/IT LIMITS SO THAT YOU CAN BECOME THE REAL CHAMPION OF THE GAME.

NOW THE TIME HAS COME FOR THE DISCUSSIONS ON LUXANNA ITEMS FOR SCENARIOS.

Now Luxanna has so much power in her mid - late game it is amazing how much she can dash out damage but everything comes at a price.
Lets start off with our first starting items. ^_^






Lets start with MY MAIN items always when i start the game.[.center]
<-- The dark seal + <-- health potion.

Lets start with the basics. Why do i buy these items on lux? Dark seal + 2 health potions = safer lane.

    Simple. Dark seal is easier pathway to getting mejai's soulstealer faster. In order to get its stack we need to have assist or kills. An assist gives 1 stack and champion kills give 2. Its very important not to die when we have this item because if we do we lose 4 stacks.
    Also it provides 15 ability power and 100 mana, it also provides 25% increased healing on options. And it provides 3 ability power on 1 stack so in this normal form you can max out to 10 stacks so that mean 30 ability power which is really good. I will explain why a stacked dark seal is good.
    Most important part for me. Lux is a far ranged champion who uses her abilities, she excels at far range poking so getting dark seal will help her because it makes her more safer.

    Why dont i choose this item?

    I feel that this item is not good for me because i dont require mana because i dont spam my abilities in the early stages. However its stats are good: 60 health, 15 ability power, 50% base mana regeneration and when kill an enemy unit it restore 4 mana.

    This item is good but not for me because i do not require to spam my abilities and mostly i last hit my minions and when i need to i use my ability wisely, knowingly that i will have enough mana when i buy items later or someone will give me a blue buff OR I WILL STEAL ENEMIES BLUE BUFF!!!
Now we look at the next step of items.

IN MOST OF MY GAMES MY PATH IS THIS.

    Now in this stage is when I feel lux has the most potential to help her teammates and as well as herself carry the game.

    We have to start off by getting boots XD so lux has a way of movement however DO NOT BUY THE COOLDOWN BOOTS RIGHT NOW!!! WE need lots of ap right now.

    I would prefer using the Ludens echo path
<-- needlessly large rod first because now we are in that area where we know that our enemy now has all 3 abilities to do combos so we need to be extra careful and more ability power will help us.

This item is my favourite because when properly stacked it gives us 175 ap and a BIG shield of about 600. This is super important because This item Seraphs + morellonomicon 125 ap = GG XD = 300 ap

    Now ludens echo is my to go item because with our combo we can till level 6 do so much damage that it is perfect for lux. BUT HOWEVER NEVER COMBO TOO EARLY. ALWAYS MAKE SURE THAT YOU KNOW WHEN TO COMBO.


^ THIS IS A BAD COMBO XD, someone thought i would 100% get them and missed her q and well used all of lux combo and now is useless XD

Always remember XD DONT GET COCKY XD and always play safely.

Now lets discuss Why not this item that everyone says its a must on lux. <-- morellonomicon

    Now lets read its stats: 80 ability power, 20% cooldown reduction, 100% base mana regeneration and if magic damages an enemy below 40% life it applies grevious wounds. (which is that it reduces self healing and regeneration rates by 40%, which means heal summoner spells and life steals wont help.)
    OMG WE SHOULD GET THIS ITEM RIGHT? well . . . . . for me, as my lux playing NO i dont and wont get this item never!!!. Why? i hate using my abilities and spamming, and when i have 20% cooldown reduction i will be using more of my spells i do not like this item at all. If i really want this item i will buy it as my 5th item never my first item, its useless for a passive player like me to use it. (sorry did not want to sound mean saying it but its just true for my scenario.)

    WHY get deathcap?

    isn't it a 4th item? Yes and no. You see when you are playing a game, most of my lol games go to 30-40 minutes. In that scenarios we usually have time for 4-5 but not a full build.
    I usually buy deathcap because with mejais fully stacked it is 250 ap + 120 ap + increases ability power by 35%. This is great for shutting down low adc (Attack Damage Carry) because they dont have items that will be used defensively. They are more going to be buying all offensive and is our time to strike hard because the more late the game goes, the more the adc will have power to 1 shot everyone in the game. We as the AP MAGES need to make sure that once we see an adc we will use our combo TO SHUT THEM down and make sure they stay down and dont live!!!!!

Now League of legends is a game that requires some thinking so that every match is different.

^DID YOU SEE THE POWER!!!!!! YES THAT IS A WOMBO COMBO ^_^
    IN this situation we do not need any items that breaks armor or anything because their team is not a very tanky team. They have bruiser top, ap jungle, ap mid, adc and tank supp. So All we need is lots of ability power to 1 shot combo their squishes (which are nidalee, ashe and even leblanc) and we will win the game ^_^ .

    We can also get an important item on lux that is 100% offensive! that is
<-- lich bane is a great offensive item that give 80 ability power, 10% cooldown reduction and 250 mana and 7% movement speed. The best part about this item is ^_^ its passive. When use an ability, your next attack deals 75% of your base ad + 50% of your ability power and has only 1.5 second cooldown.

Imagine doing a 955 ap dmg THEN using ^ this item passive XD ITS BOOM!!!!

BUT WAIT THAT IS A PERFECT SCENARIO!!!!

What will usually happen in most games -_- well sometimes we are vs too MANY TANKS ON THE TEAM!!!!

    NOW THIS IS A SUPER HARD SITUATIONAL MATCH UP. THIS IS A VERY PROBLEMATIC GAME FOR LUX.

    [lux] How do we win vs 3 tanks 1 ad mid and 1 adc who can use their tanks as an engage and kill us by combo. WELL IN THIS SCENARIO WE HAVE TO change our paths and this is how i will show you.

    [lux] Now we know that 100% we cant use mejais UNLESS we can 100% confirm that we will 100% one shot their ad mid and adc. If we get the opportunity, WE MUST TAKE IT but will be hard to stack all up to 25 stacks of mejais soulstealer. If you want you can keep it, i will still keep it in this scenario.
    Now we know That ludens and deathcap is useless vs tanks because they will just stack health and armor and our damage is uselss against them. DOES THIS MEAN GG? (good game) NO NEVER!!!! NEVER GIVE UP!! THERE IS ALWAYS A MIRACLE IN GAMES!!!

    WE just need to change our build ^_^ LETS GET TO IT!!!!

    IF THEY ARE BUYING ARMOR AND MAGIC RESIST WE BUY!!!!
<-- VOID STAFF (80 ability power and ignore 35% of target magic resist before magic penetration) This is great on them since they will buy magic resist items too!

If THEY ARE GOING SUPER HEALTHY TANKY WE BUY!!!! <-- Liandrys torment.

    This item is really good on health champions because it gives 80 ability power and 300 health and +15 magic penetration. AND spells and damage burns enemy 6% of their health as magic damage over 3 seconds, dealing 1% of their current health every 0.5 seconds. IF THEIR movement is IMPAIRED(slow, stun, snared) This will DOUBLE THE DAMAGE! HOW OP IS THIS ITEM!!!!

    Yes it is very op but it comes at a cost and that cost is that we are not going to be buying ludens and deathcap until wayyy later into the game or maybe even without it so this is a hard sacrifice we will have to take!

    SEE every situation will be based on different enemies and different scenarios. Always know what item to buy in what situation.
NOW WE SEE A DIFFERENT TEAM THAT IS ALL ABOUT ASSASSINATIONS.

    Now in this scenario, This will be bad for us because we cannot see our enemies or if we do how will we manage because they are fast, assassins who excel at killing ppl who are alone and 1 by 1.
    WE BELIEVE!!!!!! AND WE get these items!!!
<-- vision ward that help us see invisible enemies,

<-- Hourglass to get that extra armor and also have an active that make us invincible and untargetable for 2.5 seconds AND NOW EVEN HAS 10% CDR and finally WE get the most unappreciated item for lux ^_^ THE <-- rylais crystal scepter.

    This item gives 100 ap, 400 health and will slow the target movmenet speed by 40% for 1.5 seconds and 20% for multi. BUT most importantly we can spam it . So if we e they will get slow then we stun with our q then we e again and its forever slow and what can the assassin team do if they cannot come close to our team and if they do at such a slow rate, then all we need is 1 opportunity AND COMBO all of them and gg ^_^ we win.

    Lets go in another scenario. AN AD based team.

Now in this scenario, we know that lux cannot go in the front of the team because there are so many adc that they will all focus lux and she will die. What is our build? a very controversial build that i would only ask if we are falling very behind.

If we are doing well vs yasuo then go a normal ludens but if we are very behind we need to go a tanky different style lux.

We go<-- rod of ages. This item gives 80 ability power, 300 health, 400 mana. It passive is every 1 minute we gain 18 health, 40 mana and 4 ability power. It bonus cap is at +180 health +400 mana + 40 ability power. ALSO WHENEVER we level up it restores 150 health and 200 mana over 8 seconds.

    wait. WHAT? ROD OF AGES? are u kidding me? it doesnt make sense to buy it on her. -__- yes it does XD silly people XD. When we have Rod of ages what will happen? As you can see from the stats, if we mix this item with rylias crystal scepter and even hourglass. We will be unkillable and their adc will have a hard time fighting with us.
    BUT Thats not the worst part. If we are tanky mid laner, IMAGINE WHAT A FULL TANK TOP LANE RAMMUS with thornmail, sunfire, spirit visage, frozen heart and randuins omen will do to their team. Our team will become a hard counter because since most of them are adc and very squishy they will have a hard time killing lux while there is a full tank rammus in the front line.

    If there is a mid ad, on lux you can build
<-- seraphs embrace. (but get tear of goddess as your first item for stacking) This will help. It gives 80 ability power, 1,000 mana, 50% base mana regeneration and gain ability power equal to 3% of your maximum mana. It also has an active that uses ur mana and convert into a shield.

A good and super safe and farming item, i would use this if i knew that game will go into late game.

There is 1 more item that might work against an ad team that highly relies on life steal. That item is called <-- morellonomicon. This item is usually what many people buy on lux for that extra 20% cdr and also 80 ability power and 100% base mana regeneration. BUT there is 1 reason this item is very very veryy good against life stealing and health regeneration champions. IT passive is that dealing magic damage to an enemy champion under 40% health will get grievous wounds and that is perfect vs enemies that rely on life stealing and health regeneration.

    Always remember ^_^ positioning is important on lux.

    NOW We talk about a dangerous comp that is bad for lux.

    This composition is a terrible match up for lux. But like i said XD. If we give up then we have already lost so NEVER EVER GIVE UP SOLDIER!!!!!

    Now Back on track XD. What can a lux do vs 4 ap enemies? 1 think we can do that i did not inform is changing one of our summoner spells to this.
<-- Cleanse. This item removes all disables and summoner spell debuffs. But does not remove ignite.

Now this summoner spell is great vs lissandra, annie, chogath. But this is not just this item we need to stop them. We need lots of magic resists and they are.

<-- Athenes Unholy Grail, <-- abyssal scepter.

Athenes unholy grail provides 60 ap, 20% cdr, 25 magic resist and 100% mana regeneration. Its passive is that it restores 30% of mana on kill or assist. and restores 2% of missing mana every 5 seconds.

Abyssal scepter gives 70 ability power and 50 magic resist. it passive is good that in 700 range it lowers enemy magic resist by 20.

However on lux i feel we dont need these items because we have so much far range that if someone comes to all in on us we use our flash or q (light binding) to keep them in place.

Another way of being an effective person is playing or having a partner who knows what to build as a support.

HERE COMES THE LUXANNA SUPPORT BUILD or <.< >,> what supports should build when teamfights happen.

We need to tell our supports to buy items that will help us survive in magic scenarios.

Now We are right now talking about lux support but every match up decides on what the support buys. So lets get started with the support items.

Lets start with the most used item XD. If people dont buy this then you are not a support -_-

Lets start with the main item.
<-- sightstone this item places 3 wards on the map so we have vision of where our enemies are and if they are making a plan to come and gank botlane.

Frost queens claim is an item that helps lux poke and also gain gold when she hits an enemy or turret. And her active sends 2 spooky XD ghosts that slow enemies 40%. This is a good item for lux for engages or disengages.

Mikaels crucible is a very good item on lux AS SUPPORT because if someone stuns, snares our teammate. We can use this item so that we can protect them and keep them safe from combos.

<-- Locket of the iron solari. This is a great item on lux vs ap team composition. This item is really good because it gives 15 magic resist to everyone who is near our champion and on active provides a shield that shields 75 + 15 per level damage.

<-- Rightous glory is mostly for tanky but even on lux it can help because on active everyone in an area gets 60% movements speed and after a few seconds a shockwave happens that slows the enemy by 80% for 1 second.

It is good because if we cannot build a <-- talisman of ascension, righouts glory is great because gives health and also engages and a slow for team fights.

I forgot 1 more thing to talk about and that is having defensive items.

<-- banshees veil is an item that works very well vs single ability power champions. It gives 500 health 70 magic resistance 100% health regeneration and passive grants spell shield that will block any 1 ability and if enemy has not given damage to us in 40 seconds this shield refreshes and this is great item ^_^.

HOWEVER many people choose the other item and that is <-- Guardian angel. This item is great because it gives 60 armor 60 magic resist and if we die then it will activate and restore 30% of maximum health and 30% maximum mana. This effect only occurs once every 5 minutes.

TeamWork Positioning and farming.

This is a scenario where we are looking at the team positioning and farming on how to do well in games.





    Now i will assist you in what and who we are looking at ^_^.


    First of all this team is C9 = Cloud 9. Their players in this picture are c9 Balls (Top laner), c9 meteos (jungler), c9 hai (mid), c9 sneaky (adc) and c9 lemmonation(support).


    Now lets look at the positioning of every player ^_^ WE ARE LOOKING AT THE BLUE SIDE ^_^


    As you can see the front line is c9 Balls (top) Ryze and c9 meteos (jungler) NUNU. Behind them is c9 Hai (mid laner) ZED and in the back line are c9 sneaky (adc) ASHE and c9 lemmonation (support) ZYRA.


    See how they are as a team ^_^ Tanky ppl in front line, assasins in middle and adc and ap in back line ^_^ if zyra was a tank supp like leona or braum then the support would be in fronline too ^_^ so always remember everyone ^_^ Positioning with lux is very important ^_^ it can lead to victories ^_^ or defeats @.@ .




Lets talk about farming ^_^ everyone.


    This is one of the reasons people in low elo do not understand how and why farming minions is so important.


    Many people think OHHH KILLING AND FARMING CHAMPS IS MORE IMPORTANT.... but however that is not the case. DID YOU KNOW THAT in theory!!!!! not 100% fact cause there are sooo many different minions, monsters, different minions, champions etc etc etc. Everything that get killed has a price right?



    I heard that 15 cs = 1 kill (and if you disagree here is the site:
DISCUSSION ON KILL BASED ON CS.. for the discussion XD "Before that though we need to decide what the perceived ratio is. Now, the lowest number I've heard is 12 cs advantage= 1 kill. Also, I think MonteCristo said 30 cs advantage= 2 kills so lets just settle for 15 cs advantage = 1 kill.')


    anywayyyyyyyy^ so lets assume that 15cs = 1 kill so that means that maybe getting more cs is more important then getting kills.



    Lets take a scenario where we have a person who has 20 kills vs someone who has 350 cs. Who is better? lets see 20 x 15 = 300



    so that means that the person who farmed has more advantage because he is 50 cs more then the other person.



    Now ill show u what a god farmer looks like XD

DO U SEE THAT NUMBER ON GANGPLANK MID LANE. O.O OMG LETS SEE HOW MUCH kills he has? 946/15 = 63.0 = 63 kills O.O @.@ it cant be but it is XD 63 x 15 = 945 and we have not even counted the kills and assists he has.



SO JUST SHOWS THAT FARMING is more MUCH MORE important then killing champions and in most game people carry because their farm is much more then the other persons.



You want to know why i prefer lux farming over most champions basically because of this ^_^.





Its not lux but as you can see XD ^ look at how she kills all of them with 1 ability. WELLL ^__^ with lux e you can easily do that and best part at a safe position.

1 final thing before i go ^_^

When playing lux always remember that you can always impact a game by your long range 3000 ultimate. Always knowing when to use it is very important.



Here is a few tips and tricks on how to succeed as a mid laner.


    TIP 1: ALWAYS PUSH YOUR LANE SO THAT YOUR OPPONENT CANNOT FARM. THE MORE FARM YOU HAVE THE BETTER YOU WILL BE AGAINST THEM.





^ AS we can see Mord has pushed the minions to the tower this is what we have to do with lux.



    STEP 2: KNOWING WHEN TO GANK AND KNOWING WHEN TO FARM IS VERY IMPORTANT AS WELL.





^ as we can see there are 3 positions where minions are: THE LOWER RED SQUARE (left side our turret), THE middle and the upper red square(the right side our enemies turret).



    When minions are in the lower red near turret or the middle is When as lux we need to farm and push lane.


    When the minions are in the upper red near enemy turret is when we should look on the map and see where our gank will influence a kill or an assist.


    Keep in mind that when we gank, the minions will be fighting and our mid laner can push back our minions. ALWAYS MAKE SURE that when we gank we can get kill or assist or any influence on our team that will end in us winning a team fight!


^ THis is not a really good explaination of farming and ganking but works.


    As we can see lux used her e on minions and that put their lives at half so this means our minions will push mid lane.


    Since lux saw that killing cass is an opportunity she will take it with nunu but because nunu got the kill she found another opportunity at top and killed pantheon with renekton and if you look on the map, The minions are not pushing to the left turret and everything is good and it was a successful plan for ganking and no minions or farm was wasted.



    ALWAYS REMEMBER OK LUX ULTI IS 3000 RANGE SO ALWAYS MAKE SURE THAT YOU DONT PRESS ULTIMATE WHEN U SEE AN OPPORTUNITY!!!



    ALWAYS MAKE SURE THAT YOU KNOW THAT WHEN YOU HAVE A KILL IS WHEN YOU TAKE THAT DESCSION TO KILL or get an assist.



^ IN this scenario, lux saw leblanc is going back, this is a good time to think that she will not be moving because she is in the process of going back that takes 8 seconds BUT (from my counting it is 12 seconds.). Why would she move? This is a great opportunity for lux to use her ultimate to kill her.


Always remember ok!


Make sure you know that when your press your ultimate button, YOU are making sure that you will either get a kill or assist in the process.


Dont take it if you are unsure that you wont get a kill or assist.
