With the new guide I'm making completely new chapters.

As my old guide tried to get in depth with olaf i realized 1 thing. Olaf doesnt require any mechanic from any other champion. Just manage to hit your axes and you will do fine.

Items

Lets not waste any time lets go over the items.

Ohmwrecker provides olaf with 20% movement speed and similar stats to deadmans sunfire or randuins. also allows him to towerdive when splitpushing.

Blade of the ruined king allows olaf enough damage to basically kill anyone. Also as far as i know its the only good attackspeed item for olaf

Deadmans plate is movementspeed and tank.

Boots of swiftness was always good for the speed and now the cost.

Spirit visage helps you lifesteal.

Bloodthirster is tankiness and damage as generally you dont need another tank item.

Other builds

I no longer think building the black cleaver on olaf is like buying a hooker in which: sure you bought it but is it really worth the regret of after you use it?

I still dont think its great but if you can make it work: good for you. This build is just stronger in my opinion.

Ravaneous hydra doesnt give the damage nor the lifesteal you need anymore. So i completely removed that from my build after i realized hes not sion.

summary

I wanted to keep this short since with olaf you have to learn him simply by playing him. Theres no amount of reading that could help you on this guy. Learn when to engage and how to throw axes and you will be golden.
