This is an awesome build. Won lots of matches with nice positive scores. Although the masteries need to be updated. Got freestyle masteries that actually does fit Poppy.

good build. alot of poppy users out there have built this way, and it works just as well in dominion.
i only humbly disagree with maxing devastating blow first. im not sure if you know but the max damage on that skill is CAPPED based on how much health the person you are hitting has. Therefore, there is no point leveling it past 1 0r 2 until mia-late game because no-one really have over 1000-1500 health under level 10.the ap poppy guide gives a very good match/flow chart as to how this move works with calculated damage. i would level heroic charge first.
when i use this build i add a quicksilver sash since stuns are the death of poppy, and i omit the infinity edge for a either a thornmail or warmogs or frozen heart.
other wise if she gets focused , this build ends up being kind of "glass cannon"ish.

your rune set is good too but i would take out the alacrity runes and put mabye some armour or health runes.
with a trifocre, phantom dancer and a bloodthirster, your attack speed will top out at 2.5. or be very close and so there is no point to have attack speed runes imo.
all in all, good build though

If You're a Meele carry why do you have Beserkers Greaves and NO tenacity? Good build but, change that.

In response to both of your comments, Poppy is played as a hit and run. I don't put armor runes and I don't use tenacity because your ult makes you invulenerable to damage. Try the guide, and get fed once. You'll understand. Playing Poppy a lot helps you get fed more often.

I have to say, this is a really good and detailed guide. I used it myself and it works brilliant, even though you have to be a bit more careful in early game than with other champions in my opinion. But still nobody wants to counter you from mid game on and the tower dives are just crazy... Keep you the good work :)

The first game I used Poppy I failed hardcore, so I looked this guide up. Didn't do that great the first 2 games, as I have never used a build like this before. But on the third game...I ended with 46/11/7, and with a total of 32.1k gold. My best game by far. Tyvm for making this guide!
