This is my build for Master Yi. It focuses on getting him a lot of power early on and focusing more on speed later. A lot of people go for speed over power at start because of one of Yi's abilities (Wuju Style) which increases his attack. This build is meant to increase the damage you do at the beginning so you can be well fed by the end. Starting off with a bit of extra health (which everyone can use) at the start is a good thing which is why i picked Heart of Gold over Avarice Blade. In addition an early Black Cleaver can destroy any natural armor another player may have with ease, it also increases power and speed. After that you get some life steal and more power as well as a pair of Berserker's Greaves before moving onto the rest of the build. It is important to pick up the Recurve Bow before getting The Bloodthirster for the 40% attack speed it gives since its only 150 gold off, after that feel free to pick up your bloodthirster. After that get Zeal and work your way up to Phantom Dancer and Madred's Bloodrazor before selling the Heart of Gold to picked up an Infinity Edge. Now a lot of you are probably wondering where the second Phantom Dancer comes into play, well because of its movement speed bonus the two of them combined make up for the loss of the boots, so sell your boots and pick up your second phantom dancer. Its an expensive build but hopefully if you get heart of gold or another gold making item at the start (just one otherwise you will lose your biggest chance with the B.F.Sword) will help with money.


For the Mastery Page i put almost everything i could into offense with a little defense and a little Utility to help you with some armor and if and when you do die, getting back faster.

As for the Skill Sequence page, focus on maxing out Alpha Strike as fast as possible, followed by Wuju Style and leaving Meditate for last. I'm not saying Meditate isnt a good skill but if you need to have the time to heal with this build you should be, upgrade your equipment, and use teleport to get back.

As for runes, to counteract the power build up at start i've put all my runes into attack speed. This does mean however that you hit 2.5 attack speed with this equipment without using your ult, which is pretty awesome.
