Introduction

Hello viewers, my name is Aiyze and welcome to my Tryndamere top guide!
This is my very first guide on Mobafire. It is even the first guide
I ever have made. I know I can make a lot of mistakes in this guide
because English is not my native language. If you see any mistakes
please try to correct me and help me make this guide even better.

Runes




Greater mark of Armor penetration

Greater mark of Armor Penetration


Greater mark of Armor penetration: They give me alot of damage, more than
Greater Mark of Attack Damage. If you got these runes, you don't have to
buy the armor penetration items if the enemy team has almost no tanks. These
runes will help you get your first kill early game. You will also poke realy
well with them.


Greater Seal of Armor


Greater Seal of Armor: Standard runes for almost everyone. I use these
runes because you usually have an AD opponent against you. They will deal
less damage to you with these runes.


Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist


Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist: These are the best if you are not
on the mid lane. If you dont have these runes just use Greater Glyph of Magic Resist,
you will do fine. These runes will help you a lot at late game. 9x2.7 MR = 24.3 MR at lvl 18


Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed


Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed: These will help you a lot! You can
catch up with almost everybody. Perfect combo with Mocking Shout and Spinning Slash.



This is how I like my runepage for Tryndamere, you could replace the
Greater mark of Armor penetration for Greater Mark of Critical Chance or
Greater Mark of Attack Damage. If you don't have the Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed,
stick to Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage.

Summoner Spells

For my Summoner Spells I usually take

Ghost


Ignite



Some spells you could use with Tryndamere:


SPACE Flash - Double gap closer / escape.


SPACE Exhaust - Your opponents wont flee so easy.


SPACE Teleport - Who doesnt like to be somewhere fast
SPACESPACESPand kill people with your awesome sword?


SPACE Barrier - If your ultimate runs out and your
SPACESPACESP Bloodlust is on cooldown this will help.

Skill Sequence

Ability Sequence

Always start off with your Spinning Slash, this will be your lvl 1 escape/poke ability.
Next is Bloodlust and after that Mocking Shout

Maxing your [Q] Bloodlust will give you more sustain in your lane. After we
maxed that out we want to get more damage, thats why we max our [E] Spinning Slash
second. Lastly we max our [W] Mocking Shout, because we only use it for the
slow once in a while. And whenever you get the chance, put a point in [R] Undying Rage

Champion Abilities

BATTLE FURY (PASSIVE)

Tryndamere gains 5 Fury for striking a unit or 10 Fury for a critical strike, and
10 extra Fury for killing a unit. When out of combat for 8 seconds, Tryndamere
loses 5 Fury each second.

Each point of Fury grants +.35% Critical Chance.



BLOODLUST (Q)

This is Tryndamere's Q ability, this ability gives you sustain in your lane.

This ability gives you a flat amount of attack damage per rank increased by
each rank and gives you an amount of attack damage per % of health you are
missing. The active of this ability is that Tryndamere consumes his fury
and heals for a flat amount plus an amount per fury point changing with level.

This skill is very usefull after teamfights at late game. When you are very
low HP, have lots of Attack Speed and Life Steal you can jungle your health
back. At the monstercamps you get HP back and some fury, after or when you
have full fury, use your Bloodlust to get lots of health back.





MOCKING SHOUT (W)

This is a very important ability for Tryndamere when he needs to chase after
somebody. This ability provides an extremely strong slow and decreases
attack damage greatly on your opponents giving you an advantage in duels.

I usually use this skill when my opponent wants to flee. It is very
helpful when your team is winning the teamfight. What happens: Your
opponents turn their back, you run in and use your slow. After that
you and your team kill the opponents left.





SPINNING SLASH (E)

This ability is the second most important ability Tryndamere has. This ability
is a very effective gap closer and also an escape mechanisms. The
cooldown is reduced by 2 seconds every time you crit.

This ability is very usefull in teamfights or when you're farming.
Try to wait for your tank to start the fight and engage with Spinning Slash.





UNDYING RAGE (R)

This is the ultimate your opponents hate, and wich makes you so powerfull in teamfights
or solo fights. This ability instantly gives you fury which you can
use to heal up after your ultimate runs out.

If your tank died, or doesnt start the fight and you want to engage
a fight, this will be your lifesaver. Use Spinning Slash to get close
to your opponents, now everybody will focus you and you use your
Undying Rage. Be careful because your ultimate doesnt last forever,
make sure you get out of the fight in time.




Your ulti makes you one of the best and easiest champion in the game, if used correctly...

Best Items

Infinity Edge

This is your main damage dealer. This is your must have item, your core item!
With the IE you get tons of damage because you get +50% crit damage.

Phantomdancer

This is also a core item, PD gives you attack speed, movement speed and
crit chance. A very good item for Tryndamere.

Blade of the Ruined King

After the patch in S3, BRK has gotten some changes. Hes like PD but has no crit change,
instead he has life steal, movement speed, attack speed and attack damage.
And his active heals you and damages your opponent.

Bloodthirster

BT is a good item for every AD champion. It gives lots of AD and LS. People
underestimate the passive of this item.

Black cleaver

If you are against a very beefy team, you should buy BC. It eats away all their
armor and they drop the floor in seconds.

Zephyr

Zephyr is pretty good because you of his passive and his attack speed. It also has
CDR wich comes in handy for your ultimate. With this item you have less duration of CC by 35%.

Frozen Mallet

If you need a bit HP, AD and a useful slow you should definitely buy FM.

Warmog's Armor

Got an enemy team who deals lots of damage? dont worry buy warmog's armor
and you have longer to live.

Berserker's Greaves

You should definitely buy these boots on Tryndamere. The attack speed is very useful.

Enchantment: Furor

You should get the enchantment early game so your opponents
wont flee as easy. This is a great combination with frozen mallet.

Farming

With Tryndamere, you only have one ability that deals damage and
help you farm and that is Spinning Slash.

Tryndamere needs to farm to get better items, just like everyone
else. We know that Tryndamere's passive gives him fury when you auto-attack
something but it gives you even more fury when you kill a creep or a champion.
So only try to lasthit, your fury will still go up. When your fury drops quick
attack one random creep or try to poke your opponent.

Gameplay

A Tryndamere in the top lane is EXTREMELY STRONG!! If Tryndamere gets
his ult faster than his opponent he will be in a huge advantage. Because now he
has his ultimate he can towerdive earlier, take a kill and spin away to safety.
I would suggest getting your jungler to gank your lane as soon when you're lvl 6,
easy kill is easy because you can towerdive realy easy.

Early game:SPACIFarm creeps, ask for ganks, poke opponent if not too tanky.

Mid game:SPACETDestroy towers, help other lanes, get lots of kills, participate in teamfights.

Late game:SPACEGet your full item build, help and listen to your team, WIN THE GAME.

Spinning Places

The flash/spinning shortcuts

At the pictures below you can spin/flash over the walls to safety
or if you need to be somewhere quick. Thanks to Kesoria, my brother, to bring me on this idea.




A big shortcut to the wolves.





Escape your followers at baron!





Little jump, I would not recommend using this one if you get chased.





Nice escape route at every blue buff.





A small spin across the wall to get to your or your enemies turret.





I do never use the wolfcamp for an escape, but now you know it is there.




The wraithcamp, this spot is the one that im using the most.
