Hi I'm melidian on the NA server and today this guide will be trying to make you a better Shaco player. I'm not deeming myself as good as wikipro or Beautiful Korean but I know a good amount about Shaco. As you can see here if you follow my guide you should be able to get a nice win streak like this.
Yeah those are normals :P

A lot of people ask why should you play Shaco when you can pick a hard bruiser like Kha'zix or Rengar? Well Shaco has the ability to make an easy clean gank from lots of positions, he has strong split pushing power, and can destroy the squishy ADC's in one hit removing them from any potential team fights.

People also say Shaco is too weak to be playable after he got nerfed I was never playing in S3 to experience Shaco being OP and I still say he's a very strong choice to play. YES Shaco is HARD to play and VERY HARD to master. This doesn't mean he's bad though you just need to practice him and you'll get better and better everyday.

Shaco has a few roles you can play him as during the game here's what I personally do during games.

1 - Early Game: Gank lanes and get them fed. Now obviously this is what most junglers should be doing but with Shaco's invisibility ganks are much easier to accomplish since you don't always have to wait for the laner to be pushed out too far.

2 - Mid Game: 1. If possible still gank lanes but by now most lanes are broken up.
2. Splitpush, Shaco has great turret pushing power with his Statik Shiv and Ravenous Hydra. Plus the bonus of splitpushing with Shaco is that it should be easy not to get caught considering your boots of mobility and invisibility.
3. Assassin, DESTROY the squishies your Q will proc your Statik Shiv to crit every time making squishy ADC's die almost immediately.

3 - Late Game: As I said in mid game do the same splitpush, and destory those squishy players.

Shaco is NOT a good teamfighter since he's so squishy and doesn't have much cc. But if you do land yourself in a teamfight I suggest trying to pick off the squishy players by using (Q) Deceive into the fight and getting in the back of it all demolishing those squishes. :)

+ Great split pusher
+ Fast jungle clear/self leash
+ Amazing counterjungler

Cons
- Squishy/Dies easy if gets caught
- Falls off late game
- CC Destroys Shaco
- If played wrong can mess up entire game
- Hard to learn

Ranger's Trailblazer - Best farming item for the season and since all the monsters are stronger in the jungle it seems like I completely suggest buying this item. Also getting the "Warrior" enchantment will boost your ganking and brawling potential.

Trinity Force - This item is very strong on a Shaco but the amount it costs is very high so I recommend only buying it if you are very ahead on gold or it's your last item.

Sunfire Aegis - Honestly not a bad item on Shaco not too exspensive and gives him a bit of tankyness + more burn.

Guardian Angel - Bit of tankyness and allows you to survive most teamfights if it's passive is up.

Ravenous Hydra - A must buy on shaco makes for good split pushing, damage, and extra burst from the active.

Statikk Shiv - A must buy on shaco because the general stats makes for great splitpushing/brawling and the passive + your Q create an automatic critical strike for TONS of burst damage.

Infinity Edge - Makes your crits hit like a truck pretty much a must buy.

Last Whisper - Not a must buy but is a great item on Shaco if the enemies have too much armor.

Thornmail - Adc's kill themselves and they will never expect the tankyness.

Maw of Malmortius - Good damage, a bit of magic resist, and a handy shield? What's not to love about this item!

Frozen Mallet - Slow your enemies even more than just your passive and become a bit tanky. This item is pretty handy on Shaco.

Banshee's Veil - Bit of HP and MR but mostly useful for the shield so you can't get caught out from ranged stuns/burst.

Boots

Mobility Boots - As a jungler you need to get to places fast and with these boots you can run farther in your invisible form.

Berserker's Greaves - More attack speed but you lose all the mobility compared to Boots of Mobility. I suggest you get Boots of Mobility but these boots aren't bad if you are brawling 1 v 1.

Ignite - Personal favorite on Shaco because of the red buff and ignite combo the burn damage is ridiculous.

Exhaust - Makes ganks pretty incredible if you run in use your combo + exhaust for an extra slow and damage reduction.

Teleport - Not a great summoner for ganking but late game you will be able to backdoor/splitpush very well.

Ghost - Never used it much on Shaco because of buying mobility boots so I'd say Ignite/Exhaust are better though.

I prefer to engage with Q Deceive, place a W Jack In The Box between him and the turret, R Hallucinate, and finally hit them with a E Two-Shiv Poison

Top lane

LANE GANK - This CAN be done on any lane!
Mid lane

Bot lane

Remember lane ganks can be done anywhere!

This is my personal beginning jungle route it's what I do at the beginning of a game.

Safe Start - Blue > Wolves > Red

Stealing Enemies Red Start - Blue > Enemies Red (Remember to take Q instead of E on this)
