It's safe to say that Lissandra isn't going to two shot someone after engaging (Depends on your build and their comp tbh). Most of the time laning is about picking and choosing your fights and trades. Personally, I like to poke with my Q and farm until jungle gets there. If possible, only use Q when you have your passive up or at least look at your mana bar from time to time (This is only possible if the enemy mid/top laner isn't harassing too much). Her CD for Q is really low so it's easy to get carried away sometimes. Later into the game a really easy tip to farm is E+Q+W. E & Q on the same set of minions for increased range and damage then clean up the smaller minions with W. Simple right? +.(*'v`*)+

Cons:
- Low damage early game
- Low mana
- Requires good positioning
- Needs a team that will follow up

Playing As Lissandra:

- You can instantly use your ultimate on yourself by pressing the self cast key and the ultimate key at once (Alt + R by default)

- Casting Glacial Path and then running in the opposite direction will leave your enemies uncertain which way you'll actually go

- Lissandra's abilities are shorter range than those of many mages. As a result, buying items that offer both ability power and defense, like Zhonya's Hourglass and Abyssal Scepter can be a great choice to help her both survive and deal damage.

- Hitting a target with Q extends its range. Keep this in mind when poking down the enemy!

Runes are fairly simple. There really shouldn't be a reason to go anything else other than replacing the scaling MR with scaling armor. Lissandra doesn't need TONS of AP runes to carry.
