Honestly, I'm not a fan of Shurelya's on Amumu. Randuin's Omen is so much better, so start with Heart of Gold for a gold/5 item. However, I understand the rationale behind Philosopher's Stone - the HP5, the MP5. My personal experience with Amumu is that you shouldn't need Philosopher's Stone if you have the Golem buff, which you should be controlling all the time. I'm also a bit reluctant about the masteries as 21 in defense isn't really that necessary while 30% extended buffs is.

The more you use tantrum the shorter cooldown it gets, thus making it have a better damage output than the tears of death

I picked up amumu recently and have been looking for a jungle build. Good build and it gives support to the team. I like it. +1

thanks alot ^^ well i do max trantrum first because midgame you prettu much 1 shot most of the minions in lane so its great for farming , and to be a strong late game tank you need to farm alot midgame but maxing despair is good too , i just prefer trantrum

and for the mana regen i prefer giving the blue buff to our caster carry with that mana regen you can pretty much spam your bandage toss and despair even if you dont have the blue buff i know some ppls dont like it but when i forget to change my rune page i notice the difference on my mana alot i will take a look at your guide also thanks for the feedback

Hey man, I have an Amumu jungle guide too..
Why do you maximize tantrum first? Tantrum is better for jungle, but lvl 7+ it doesnt make a huge difference, so I usually max despair, cuz I think its better for group fights..
Also, I think u have too much mana regen.. maybe just grab that golem will solve the mana prob..

agreed but if you are level 30 you should be able to do it just take your time and make sure your potion heal you enough before engaging patience is the key ^^ thanks for the feedback
