ok so before i continue i want you guys to see this quadrakill i got with rammus, i was kinda surprised i got a quadra with a tank but meh atleast i got it, here it is...
Hello, and thanks for checking this guide out, this is a tank rammus build.
ive played rammus for a while as a noob :/ i use to spam thornmails; which IS SO WRONG
so i came up with this build; and really it helps with about 3/4 of this build you will be able to tank turrets and the whole team long enough for your team to be able to kill the enemy team AND get the turret.
Not to mention you can still get kills with this build.
this is of course tank Masteries for the tanking and the 9 in utilty is incase you die you will be able to get back ingame faster and also more xp and that extra bit of gold regen.
As Runes i picked abit of each main tank component (health, armor, and magic resist)
but for the quints you need flat health for early game.
OK for the skills
lvl 1- i go for a powerball so i can hit people, catch up to them and slow them very useful for ganking. but this skill will be maxed out the last since when you upgrade it, it only gives bonus damage (not main purpose as tank.)
lvl 2- at lvl 2 i either get my shield or the taunt depending on the champions i lane against/with
lvl 3-13 -- here i lvl up my shield and taunt, one after the other, and upgrade my ultimate when i can
lvl 14-18 -- by this time you already maxed out your taunt and the shield and now you must lvl your powerball, and at lvl 16 lvl up your ulti.
I get ghost for a 2 primary reasons, to run and to chase, with your ghost you will be able to run away safely or chase some one down for your team.
And as for me, i can never play a game without teleport as it is a must if you want to protect your turrets or if you want to push a lane, or save a team mate.
the item sequence is pretty under standable
Ok i get this as a starter item because your a tank, you will need the health in the beginning.
You then upgrade the ruby crystal into this, because this will be with you for a long time (it gives gold per second) and its a great starting item
Of course you will need the boots for move speed also for the armor.
Ok this item is great because it gives health, magic resist, armor, and extra damage to you and your allies. also the components for this item are very cheap and you can get them easy.
Ok so now we are going to get this expensive item because of the extra health wich is a MUST for rammus, you can NEVER tank without extra health.
Ok so now upgrade the belt for the cape, O.o, this is a great item because of the health, armor, and the passive helps you deal more damage. lol every thing is good about it
Ok so now this item will make all AD, physical attack, auto attackers, usless against you, you gain 100 ARMOR!!! and the greatest passive which sinks in with your shield.
Ok this is one of the best items ever made, it slows people that attack you (VERY WELL WITH YOUR ULTI AND SUNFIRE) gives health, and armor, and a great active the makes all dps completly useless.
Ok so now i get this item last incase i die, and also for the great armor and magic resist.
In case of mages/AP champs...
In case of mages/AP champs (only do this if you know you need it.) you will need to trade some things...
Get amercurys treads instead ofninja tabi.
And get aforce-of-nature instead ofthorn mail.
