Great build! After looking at this with the new infinity edge buffs (it's even now cheaper FFS) you can literally f**k over the entire enemy team once you have it. Personally I still like to go with a few personal changes (I generally prefer a more support-tank build with frost hammer + starks over banshees + trinity as the aura from starks is amazing for your team and so is the slow from frost hammer, yes you do less DMG but are generally a lot more useful in team fights) but I have tried and do love this build so much. Just personal preference puts me with the supporting role.

One important thing all sion players need to know however is that a FoN is kinda MANDATORY against brand. I would even consider rushing it in some cases. He can shut down sion so easily it's laughable. His stun lasts longer than yours and he does %health DPS in addition to a massive nuke. It is almost impossible to lane against him as it is. The regen and MResist will almost make his passive useless against you.

Prolly good guide, but it's stupid to play Sion as AD - Because he is much more useful as AP.

im kinda new to sion, and i seem to get harrassed like crazy early game, thus not allowing me to farm or get exp, since im sitting on 100health and have to port. any suggestions?

+1 I'd recommend to put 9 points (or 8 if you get exhaust) into utility the 5% extra exp alone is better than all those 8 points you put into offense, it will help you gain a lvl advantage (or staying at the same lvl if they have it too), and help you get into late game faster. Except for that your build is great.

@splinter cell: go to solomid.net and watch some videos of sion played at high level, as a melee laner he has to harass in bursts. these should help you out. sion is a strong laner when you know how to do this.

@demonic girl: yup items have been updated to reflect change to IE

@ Androdriverz: the crit chance and AS boost are worth about 4-5% extra DPS, i prefer this to the extra XP. sion is more item dependant than lvl dependant

Question :p I didn't check to read all the comments, but how long is the range on Sion's heal for his ultimate? This guide makes Sion sound very overpowered as DPS, which is much stronger than AP in my humble opinion :p +1

i don't know the range on his heal, but it's big enough to effect everyone in a normal teamfight
