I think your build could use its fair share of changes. I've never had problems getting ganked at level 1 so I wouldn't recommend getting Nevermore over Torment first (it has a 18 second cooldown at level 1). If you have flash, teleport, and don't play careless you shouldn't have to worry about getting ganked at level 1. I'd recommend getting torment at level 1 and Nevermore at level 3. I tend to max out Nevermore and Decrepify at the same rate because the lower cooldown on Nevermore is just as vital as the damage and slow from Decrepify.

Swain is one of the kings of SpellVamp, and as such I would recommend getting Hextech Revolver and Fendish Codex early. I see these items in your items section but I don't see them in the purchase order (at top of page) listed in the early game. You show half here and there, but not the whole picture. Maybe just a matter of layout, but I'm not sure what you were going for. These two items will allow you to dominate your lane and become less susceptible to ganks (by providing health through spellvamp and mana through Fendish Codex along with some good AP). Along with your passive you shouldn't have any problem getting mana and if you do you can just teleport back.

On another note; +3 Attack damage isn't worth getting on swain!!! Once you get to level 6 you shouldn't have any problems getting minion kills. The +3 damage is hardly going to help early game and will become useless by mid game. Put it into something more useful like Havoc.

There are a few other (mostly minor) changes that I would make concerning you build but these are the big ones.

BlueFlatts: Who even uses Torment at level 1? It deals little to no damage and should only be used at least at level 3. I get Nevermove because it's Swain's greatest source of CC. I took it at level 1 and when we went for an invade, I snagged two people with Nevermove which gave us two kills and an entire massive lead over the enemy. We won with fed carries. Never again would I decide to take anything other then Nevermove at level 1.

Catalyst the Protector already allows you to dominate your lane. You need a fast Rod of Ages and Rabadon's Deathcap to deal massive damage. I have no idea what kind of lane you're fighting but you're clearly doing it wrong.

Check out Havoc 's damage. 1.5%. Do some math and see how much that is. On the side note, Brute Force is +3 attack, which will be amplified by Torment. It helps harassment as well, not just last-hitting. And no game would you ever build the exact same I hope you understand that. The reasons you use to down-vote my guide are minor things, not even close to major.

On a side note though, why wait for Decrepify until level 4? That slow at level 3 helps way too much to establish successful harassment early game, and make for hilarious ganks with your jungler pre-6. That's how I play him, but you're the respected, awesome Swain person, so who am I to judge. ;D

I don't know if you'll see this, but this is my first game with this rune/mastery set up. :D 20 minute surrender, Morde was my mid opponent. He couldn't handle your build. :DD
