Skill Sequence

Your Q is your main source of Damage, i will always max it first, it gives off a lot of damage along with AOE damage which makes clearing a hell of a lot easier and you can kind of split push with it which can be very useful, the burrowed Q is also kind of like a snipe which unfortunately does not slow but is still strong especially in the early game and can help you finish off enemies with the extremely long range. I would then go on to max E, it is a strong AD ability and does especially a lot of true damage when your max Fury, it also decreases the cool-down of tunneling which can be helpful. I would finally go on to max my W, only the burrow damage increases with Level so there's no use maxing it any sooner.

Items

With the recent nerfs to trail blazer this would be the ideal item for Rek'Sai, he only has one CC so this is an extra long distance stun which is very useful especially in early game ganking. Poachers knife can be taken if your counter Jungeling like mad and you can lock out the enemy jungler, but if your not then don't. Warrior buff is better in my opinion than devourer for rek'sai, he does much better with the Armour penetration and the early AD advantage.

Great for roaming through your jungle and it works while your borrowed making you even faster, especially good for counter jungelling. Furor buff to chase down enemies because your only gap closer has quiet a long cooldown.

A must for Rek'Sai, the massive AD boost will make you much stronger and make your clear almost instant becuase of the sync with your Q, it will also give you that little bit of life steal helping you in dueling situations.

A good top laner item gives you a bit of everything along with the Sheen proc good damage booster.

Another good top laner item, the Armor penetration will help alot against tankier champions and it will give you a little bit of health along with Cool down reduction.

Only when your really fed you'll be finishing people in seconds.

This would be my final item if the enemy is not taking heave Armour, the passive will give you percentage damage on hit making you a lot stronger especially in the late game.

I would take this as my final item or if i'm really fed, the passive will help me shred through enemies armor and take them down a lot easier.

I would take this if i am ahead but the enemy team is AP heavy, it will help against the heave AP burst champions such as Akali or Leblanc.

My preferred Armor choice, will help you survive a lot better with the Health bonus and the passive will reduce attack speed especially good against ADC's.

Works as a replacement for Randuins or if you just want more Armour, it is more of an offensive pick and helps with clearing/split pushing and the early game damage on champions is actually quiet significant.

My preferred Magic resist item, Rek'sai is a very vulnerable champion because of his dive in style of play, if he dives in and gets CC'd he will get crushed. The spell shield will stop a spell which can be life saving in important team fighting situations. It also gives you health and magic resist making you tankier.

You could also take this instead of banshees, it does give alot of Magic resist with health and some cooldown reduction, and the passive will make your burrowed healing a lot helping you sustain alot better.

Spells

Always as Rek'Sai, E your only gap closer has quiet a long cooldown so flash can be used to combo it with your unborrow knock up. It is also very good for escaping.

Always as jungler.

Good for top laning especially against champions you wont be able to kill because there too tanky e.g. Malphite, Shen etc.

If you want to be a more aggresive top laner and against champions you know you will duel alot, it can help you clinch and early kill.

How to Top Lane

Farm is easy with your Q and once you have hydra you will have insane clear, if he keeps poking you and you can't go all out on him yet stay borrowed and farm with your Q it works pretty well because of the mana free cost. When attempting to go for the kill try and go in once you are max fury, go in burrowed knock him up burst him out with your Q and then E him if he attempts to flash burrow then Q him once and E on to him and finish him off. Once your a kill ahead of your enemy with Rek'Sai they wont be able to duel you again so you'll have won the lane. If you get ganked simply burrow and E your *** outta there.

Creeping / Jungling

Start with the Golems or Gromp depending on the enemy champion, if it is one you think you will be able to burst down for an early kill go with gromp, smite it at spawn kill it, then kill blue buff and approach the enemy jungle, stay borrowed to watch where he is and at the right time engage knock him up and finish him off. Once you do that and take his Red you should be Level 3 and you can go for a Gank at Top or Bottom.

Early Game - Mid Game

Your first ganks should be Top or Mid lane, check if the lanes are pushed run in whack him a few times then W and E on him and kill him. Attempting to gank bot Pre 6 isnt so wise especially with a Blitz or Leona as you can get caught out and killed. Once you hit level 6 attempt to gank bot, preferably if you placed your tunnel somewhere you can ult in for easy access, knock up the ADC and burst him out. You should also watch out for dragon, keep it warded and if enemy bot lane have recalled you can quickly take it and give your team the advantage of the first buff.

Late Game / Team Fights

Baron must be constantly warded you cant let it slip to the enemy team and end up being split push like Mad, if they attempt to take it Contest it, Keep a portal around the baron buff and keep it warded on the inside, don't put a portal on the inside of baron as the enemy team will easily take it out. Once you ult to your portal, Portal in to baron, knock up and attempt a Steal. In team fights you should attempt to stay out of sight engage with your E, knock up the ADC and burst him out. with this build you will be able to take a bit of damage so don't be afraid of engaging for your team.
