I also disagree with the summoner spells, as you should have an escape skill, since if she does as much damage as you say, people will likely focus you.
Btw you realize that at level 18, 30% spell vamp passive, 25% spell vamp will of ancients, and spirit visage 15%. Do you honestly need 70% vamp?
I can see how this is good sustainbility, but in team fights you will suck, because all you will have is a huge amount of mana regen, and they would know and start it early so you cant endlessly harass them
I'm more convinced that you are playing against weak players because you will flat out not land Q in lane against anyone competent unless they are trying to be aggressive. It's 100% reactable outside of auto-attack range. My ults usually hit for around 1/3 to 1/2 damage to the entire team, which, along with the stun and distraction, makes it easy for my team to clean up the rest. Remember that I'm also going to be 2-4 levels higher than everyone else and more farmed, as well. That, and I maintain a real presence in team fights even after ulting, unlike a Zhonya/Flash build.
Just because this build isn't the same old RoA, Zhonya's, Rabadon's doesn't mean it's bad. Early games win late games, so you shouldn't discount how much absolutely dominating at the start can help. You might actually want to read the guide, as well, since a lot of it applies to any Morgana build. I might even do a tank Morgana guide next, or add it as an alternative build in this one, since I have a similar win rate with that build when we absolutely need a tank. I'm sure you'd complain about that one, too, especially since I get a chalice in that one, as well.
And, what? Morgana does no damage? Have you seen her scales and base damage? I find it impossible not to win lane with her, and no, that doesnt only mean not being outpushed, her harass is formidable.
When did I say she does no damage? This focuses on maximizing your total damage, rather than your burst damage. As you said, her base damage is really good. Her ratios are good, too, so more AP is definitely good, but not required to be effective. I'd rather force my opponent to recall while I sit there with full health than snag the kill, but need to recall myself because I took too much damage or ran out of mana in the process. I can usually take their tower out really fast that way (usually before my third TP) and then go help another lane push down their tower or go take dragon. Getting all three towers and a dragon that fast really helps cement some early dominance.
dude just get some mana reg yellows...morgana has infinite mana already..or just get blue...lol..no need for so many items and pots...only hurts you
I like how everyone always assumes that everyone with mana is going to have blue all game, because there's 10 golems on the map.
The point of all that mana regen is to be able to constantly harass your opponent so they get pushed out of lane and wind up way behind in experience and gold, and being able to poke mid and late game so you apply constant pressure to your opponent. I've briefly run out of mana (even with AA and Chalice) poking down a 5v1 push so my teammates can show up to help.
Morgana has spell vamp, yes. does it need improvement? no.
The game isnt about sustain late game, its about keeping yourself, your team mates alive and the enemy pushed and dead. Sorry but -1
