Chapter 1

Renekton guide.

Introduction

As the time goes on, I finally decided to make a guide for Renekton, a champion we either hate or love. I hate to play against him just because of his crazy damage and high survivability.

Runes

The runes are quite easy, I use armor penetration marks, since I think that armor penetration is important for renekton. I use armor seals for a bit higher survivabilty in early game, most for minions and an extra turret shot if you decide to dive which is just stupid, but it happens:p. i go for glyph CD since there's nothing interesting, well either that or flat magic resistance. Then armor penetration quintessences.

Masteries

I go for offensive mastery, which makes killing easier, 21/0/9 with improved exhaust and improved ghost. If my team is squishy, go for other mastery build (0/21/9) with improved cleanse and improved ghost, same items and same runes.

Items

The items I chose at the top are well balanced and works out very well in most situations, but if they got a fed AP user, go for more Mr, if they got a fed AD user, go for more armor. If you should switch anything for more armor etc, it should be Sunfire cape and Ghostblade imo. And if you're facing a team with great CC choose mercury treads instead of Berserker Greaves.

Skill Sequence

I start with stun (ruthless predator), it usually ends with first blood if not any other lanes die. In lv 2 I take Cull the Meek and in lv 3 I take Slice and Dice. Now you have 1 in all skills, max out Cull the Meek for damage and survivability, second Ruthless Predator, and third Slice and Dice, and IF they have a tank or champons with alot of armor I change the order of Ruthless Predator and Slice and Dice.

Summoner Spells

Exhaust/Ghost with offensive masteries, cleanse/ghost with defensive masteries.

Farming

Farming is a huge part with Renekton, use everything you got to get last hits from minions, NEVER LANE with an AD Carry, go solo or lane with a tank/support( but since AD Carry's farm is more important they should go with support).

Pros / Cons

Pros: Your survivability and damage output is high.
Cons: You move a bit slower than people with Swiftness and Phantom Dancer's, etc but if you land a hit before they make a run, you should be fine with the Frozen Mallet, and you've a bit more CD's then you would with the CD reduction boots.

Creeping / Jungling

Mana buff should go to supporters in first hand, but take it if they don't need it since it's nice boost to CD reduction, the buff is something you don't need, give it to AD Carrys(you already got Frozen Mallet).
