Welcome back to watching Crocodile Dundee! I mean hello and welcome to my guide for Renekton. Renekton is a tough DPS champion. This champion uses Fury, which is brand new to the League. This champion was added in the second week of January 2011.

Pros:
- Fury (No Mana)
- Built-in Flash
- Q attack heals
- Ultimate increases range
- Stun (even better with Fury)
- Skills use nothing on low Fury
- Easy Getaways in jungle
- Great Farmer

Cons:
- Difficult to master
- Needs a lot of CD to function.
- Overextends easily in lanes
- Can be easily ganked in early game.

For masteries I use a standard 21/9/0. These masteries give attack damage with CD and dodge.

Runes I use Armor Pen, Health, and CD which are the three most important qualities to build a good Renekton.

Fury:

Fury is gained when Renekton uses attacks. The Fury bar is only capable of going to 100 at the moment. Once the Fury bar hits 50, the next skill Renekton uses will be buffed. The skill also takes up 50 of the Fury as well. Renekton gains 5 fury per hit.

Q Cull the Meek Building Renekton as a DPS is very efficient because of this skill. This skill gives him more health when attacking minions and champions. This is like Akali and her Crescent Slash.

W Ruthless Predator This attack can go two ways with and without Fury. Without fury this attack is just a simple stun. With Fury Renekton attacks 3 times and still stuns.

E Slice and Dice This attack is Renekton's "Built-In Flash." This is a short ranged dash used greatly for escaping. With Fury, this attack can be used twice usually for attacking and retreating or just a better escape.

R Dominus Renekton's ultimate. Like Nasus, Renekton's health is inceased, but also his range is increased and does small amounts of Magic Damage to surrounding enemies. This should mostly be used when initiating team fights or escaping and gaining the extra health. Remember, Dominus does't run on Fury at all, so with enough CD this can be used at the time needed. This skill also rapidly gives Renekton Fury. So use it wisely!

Core build: Ionian Boots of Lucidity > Spirit Visage > Infinity Edge > Youmuu's Ghostblade > Frozen Mallet > Black Cleaver > Guardian Angel

If you are going against high DPS I would suggest adding Randuin's Omen for increased armor and CD.
Instead of Black Cleaver you could use Lich Bane.
If you and your trouble with health buy Zeke's Harbinger or Bloodthirster for lifesteal to add to Cull the Meek.

Exhaust: for better trapping with Renekton's small attack range.

Ignite: for early game harassment and for that tad bit of health remaining if they just get out of the range of your other attacks. (This will happen often if you are alone)

Optional Spells:

Ghost: Improved chasing and escape.

Flash: In case Slice and Dice isn't good enough for you ;)

Cleanse: If you feel the need to escape even easier or counter those stuns and etc.

Teleport: Only use for pre-mades. Otherwise just use Slice and Dice through a jungle to get to an adjacent lane.

Clairvoyance: Again for pre-mades. Since you will be moving in and out of jungle a lot in mid-game use it for defensive or offensive strategy.

Why not the rest?

Clarity: No mana? No problem!

Smite: Only if you plan on jungling.

Heal: You got your own!

Rally: You're going to be moving around frequently in battle and the other team won't agree to stand near your little rally.

Revive: Just no.

Fortify: Only should be used in pre-made games. There's no problem with minions for this champion anyway.

Team work is VERY IMPORTANT with Renekton. Renekton is very good at initiating from close range. Do not try to initiate a team fight from distance. Renekton should also not come from the lane, but from jungle. Use Ruthless Predator to stun and take the team one by one. Also, you could overwhelm them with Cull the Meek (with the fury bonus) and take out their health. If your offense fails, retreat with Slice and Dice. If you get trapped, pop Dominus and make sure your team is with you.

Teamwork in jungle:

If an enemy is escaping through jungle, try to plan where they will show up and prepare Ruthless Predator. This will guarantee the kill.
