Introduction

Hey Guys

this is a guide about Rengar. I write the build because I think the Rengar guides that are on mobafire about Rengar atm dont work for me. First the playstyle had to be found out... then I could choose the fitting items. I dont have the time to make this guide fancy or something. I played Rengar now since he came out and in the beginning I really sucked at playing him.
After about 20 lost games I started picking up what is needed and how to use it on Rengar.

Now it's fantastic, but this is just a personal opinion...

I play Rengar (so far) only in the jungle. Mainly because Rengar is very good in the jungle and ganking the lanes constantly. Since I am still not finished with my Item build thinking on Rengar I ask you to tell me what you like different or not.

Items and Jungling: Summary

Buying items there are a couple of things to be weary about. First you grab the Junglers armor and 5 healpots. You start at wraith and tell your teammates to help you with wraith AND Red buff. Therefore you will gank at 2:30 mins.

After you got Red Buff you look if there is a ganking possibility on mid or top/bot depending which Red you took. And remember: Often it helps the Laners if you put some dmg on their opponents and then go back again if no gank is possible.

Head to small Golem camp. Go Wraith again.
Then decide:

1. Mid gank ?
2. Blue Buff ?

After that you go back. Buy the Mandreds Razor (+ boots) and between 2 and 5 Healpots.
Go in the joungle again. Now your job is it to run between the lanes think where it might be good to be at the right time and help or gank. Inbetween you constantly joungle.

This way you will be a huge help to your teammates. After you had a kill/gank on a lane dont feel bad about killing one creep wave. Lets say this way they pay you back for the successfull gank. It wont affect them too much and you get exp boosts while on lane. This helps a lot to keep track of your lvl.

When buying the advanced boots you will have to decide whether to get the 5-Boots or the Merc Boots. If you have a fed mage or a lot of cc champs buy the merc.
I found 5-Boots very effective on Rengar cause you can just roam and be everywhere. This helps a lot in mid game.

Later on if you didnt buy merc boots buy Hexdrinker. you can buy this item earlier too. Depending on the ap dmg that is being dealt.

Dont get Wrigglers Latern: It cost you money before you get your snowball item and doest have any lategame benefit. Instead buy some wards from time to time.
