Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hello everyone! Welcome to my first guide I made on MOBAFIRE (My english isn't so good so if any mistakes makes you feel bad don't ready this guide) which is showing you how to build Rengar as an assasin and killing machine.
With this build Rengar is assasin with a lot of AD, but also without big amount of HP what makes him extremly dangeroue for every carry and extremly squishy in mid and early game. I hope you'll enjoy it.
PS. It's not in-depth guide.
Pros / Cons
-Strong Early game
-A lot of AD
-Ulti makes you invisible and it shows you enemies
-Jump from passive
-With Ferocity you can use your skills twice
-Doesn't have mana
-If you're good you can get focused
-Like all champions can get countered
Ignite- this spell deals big amount of true dmg and reduces healing effects on the enemies you choose, it gives you a chance to kil running enemie when you can't jump to him. It's also useful come late game, when you can use it on enemy AD Carry to halt their life steal.
Flash- Just a great escape i think everyone knows how to use it well.
Exhaust- if you don't like Ignite, take this one. It's very useful in early and late game. Slows enemy down and downgrate their AS, AD and damage dealt by abilities.
Ghost- i don't like taking this summoner spell on Rengar, becouse he is getting MS from ulti and Bonetooth necklace but if you don't like flash you can also pick this one.
While in brush or stealth, Rengar will leap at the target when using his basic attack. Rengar builds 1 Ferocity with each ability he uses on enemies. When reaching 5 Ferocity, Rengar's next ability becomes empowered, granting it a bonus effect.
One of the bests passives in the game. Allows you to jump to the enemie whenever you want and gives you a chance to use your skills twice and even more powerful.
-jump to the enemy with 3 Ferocity use 2 skills and then your Ferocity skill bonus.
Rengar's next basic attack deals bonus damage and grants him increased Attack Speed for 3 seconds.
Ferocity Bonus: Rengar deals enhanced damage and his Attack Speed bonus increases.
Your main dmg skills. Savagery allows you to deal a lot of dmg in few seconds and grants you big amount of AS. It's your main choice when you have 5 Ferocity.
Rengar lets out a battle roar, damaging enemies and gaining bonus Armor and Magic Resist for a short duration.
Ferocity Bonus: Rengar heals himself for a large amount.
Great AOE slash and heal in one. If you have problems in lane and you don't have potions anymore, build your Ferocity and use it to heal yourself.
Rengar throws a bola at his target, slowing them for a short duration.
Ferocity Bonus: Rengar roots the target.
When you enemy is running you should use it to slow him down and use bushes to jump to him. It's also allows you to last hit minions from range. Use it with Ferocity only if you're ganking lane or your enemy is, without using this, gonna run to the turret
Thrill of the Hunt
Rengar activates his predatory instincts, stealthing and revealing all enemy champions in a large radius around him. He gains Movement Speed and rapidly generates Ferocity while stealthed.
When i first time saw this skill i thought that this is some kind of joke and it sucks becouse it gives you invisibility only for few seconds, but when i played Rengar i understood its power. Combined with Tri Force and Bonetooth necklace allows you to easily catch every enemy by jumping to it from range. It also gives you visibility in big range so you can kill enemies who are recalling in bushes. Next advantage is Ferocity, you can use your ultimate to run away, fast heal yourself and again jump to the fight.
Thanks for reading my guide (or maybe just looking at him, becouse here is nothing to read) and surviving my bad english. Have a good time with Rengar and i hope you'll enjoy playing as him with my Solo Top Guide.
