Definitely upvoted. Great guide to better understand the game as well as how to develop better gaming etiquette. Keep up the good work!

Thank you so much for this guide. I was gone for almost a year and I came back to a very altered game. This has really set me straight and I hope to do better =)

I've been playing for a while and was looking to shoot a guide to a few new players, and I found this. I ended up reading all the way through because I love the humor you incorporated. I also found a few things that I didn't know. Thanks for saying that some Bronze players KNOW what to do, but have issues DOING what they know.

After reading this I went into a queue and tried to stay positive during champ select. I was last pick and assumed I would support so I stated 'fill' as usual. The next part is where I wanted your opinion and maybe something for you to consider adding to this guide.

First pick: I had a fiddle last game who went 0/10 and never warded then blamed our whole team
Me: well let's all keep our cool and make sure we each are doing our jobs :)
First Pick: I am going to jungle, when I gank and we get a kill. We push and get turrets. Okay?
Third pick: No that is dumb and I don't want to do that.
(Let the rage begin in champ select)
First pick: WELL F YOU I AM FP AND I SAY THAT IS WHAT WE DO
Me: Hey guys lets keep calm this is only champ select, nothing has even happened yet. We don't even know who we are playing as!
First pick: I AM THE CAPTAIN AND LEADER SO I MAKE THE SHOTS AND THE CALLS AND YOU GUYS HAVE TO LISTEN TO ME OR ELSE WE WILL LOSE. I AM BETTER THAN ALL OF YOU BECAUSE I AM FP

I dodged the queue. So I wanted you to maybe think about adding a part on queue dodging and under what circumstances it is the best option. I saw this as a ridiculous way to start a game and didn't want to waste my time. Lost 7 LP which is actually lower than what I usually lose. So I call worth.

I don't mean to be intrusive, but which League was this? Was it Diamond arrogance or Bronze stereotype? I have never seen anyone act like this. Dodging was by far the best thing you could have done. Unless it would cause me to lose a second promo match, I would not go into a game with this kind of "foreshadowing". Your ability to keep your cool beyond the first few lines show a remarkable resilience!

Yo.

Everyhting i'm about to write is solely my opinion on youre guide.

(WARNING: Bad english grammar incomming!)

The positive:
Great guide!! i would love to see riot smash this on the homepage on LeagueOfLegends.com.
a great guide, that i think ALOT players more than Riot or the players who i refer to will
acknowledge, need to read and understand.

You have alot of constructive and helpfull advice that could for sure make alot of
harsh/annoying games be much more fun and also greatly increase the amount of games the
Newbies/toxic players and their team wins.

The negative:
I agree with almost you're whole guide, but there are some points where i feel that these
sections will only create more raging than it already does, and also a few that can easely be
misunderstood by someone who is new to the game or dont think too much about the game and
just does what is stated in a guide without further thinking about what he/she just read.

MIA's:
You're overall commenting on MIA's is (in my opinion) bulls**t.

You state that anyone who says that it's the others responsibility to watch the minimap
and think of MIA's as a luxury from the other lane is "scum".

Then i can tell you right away that i am "scum", when someone from my lane leaves i
usually call SS/MIA and make the "enemy is missing" ping 2-3 times, and maybe the danger
ping in the lane i think my opponent is very likely to gank.

But i dont see it as a responsibility, it's something that can increase you're chance of
winning and decrease rage/whining and overall performance of you're team, if i get
ganked by another lane i do not blame the other lane, i blame myself for playing too
carefree and not warding (if i forgot that), and ask the other lane if they would kindly
call MIA or SS next time.

Also, this "responsibility" will also make new players and "toxic" player look more
after their teams inability to call MIA than their own misplays, and most likely course
more rage. (and again, this is solely my opinion on this topic)

(Is there a maximum number of letters i can write in this thing?)

ADC's:
"commit's to a tank or bruiser as their primary target while another carry beats them
down" You make it sound like the enemy ADC/APC is number one priority 100% of games with
no exeptions, there you are quite wrong, you need to focus the one witht he hightest
potential to decimate you're team, which is normally the ADC/APC.

Jungler's:
You make it sound like you're jungler should never go to a lane to take farm,
The thing i think is wrong with this is not the meaning, but how it can be understood.
It sounds like a jungler should only come to a lane, gank, and leave. everything else
isa taboo. Wrong. if you're toplane just backed because of low hp, and a giant creepwave
is pushing into his tower, and he wont make it to get it, it is not only a good idea to
go there as a jungler, but i'd rather say it's idiotic NOT to go there, as the farm will
otherwise just be lost to the tower, and the creeps in the jungler doesn't go anywhere.

Also, if you're moving down from top jungle to do dragon, if out is a relatively slow
pusher, i see no problem in going mid and push the lane up to the enemy tower even if it
means taking a few cs from my midlane.

I still agree that a jungler shouln't come to a lane, farm the creeps and leave just
because he felt like it or was close by, im just saying that there are exeptions.

TOP:
"plays teemo, akali or riven (they have massive potential to get a lot of kills, but
bring nothing to the team overall.)", do they need to? Every champion have specifik
abilitis and things they can do, like teemo doesn't need to have a huge factor in a
teamfight to be usefull, just his presence on the map courses fear in the opposing team
making them play more passively/ use more gold on oracle = less gold to items for
slaughtering you're team.

Akali, same, she doesn't need to be have a miss fortune or amumu ultimate to be usefull.
Oneshotting the enemy ADC/APC is more than just helpfull, also if sheget's far ahead
in lane she can either roam, making the other lanes win harder or stay top and push towers
either making the jungler stay top at almost all times making the other lanes safer or
making the enemy lose an inhibitor if ignored.

Riven is the exact same as akali, huge damage potential to oneshot carries and high
presure of lane for indirect support to the other lanes or direct support by
roaming/ganking

And the rest is pretty much just standard stuff like not burning all you're mana farming/pushing you're lane, which is ofcourse okay ifyou're about to go back.nthere probably was alot more but i am too tired to read it all xD

and again, i realise most of my negative's is not straight up you that have a bad view on something, but mostly things in you're guide that is easely misunderstood by new players.

Overall a great and very constructive guidethat i would recomment Riot to put on their website
so new players can see it.

(Is there really no limit in this thing? 933 words) sorry for the long post :)

SO MUCH THIS

Anyways, why is it so hard to keep your cool in game x-x
After over like 2k games played I STILL lose my will and motivation when a situation seems hopeless x-x
On the bright side, when I can keep a cool head I end up making plays and stuff.. and I only recently developed the ability to do that 8D (which got me from bronze I to silver III hue)
I wonder how high you'll climb after you actually manage to do all of these things ingame :3

I'd call worth, my brother. You lose less LP typically when you dodge than when you take a loss. Depends on your MMR and clamping and all that other fancy stuff that I don't get paid to calculate.

But yeah, sometimes you know a team just isn't going to cooperate at champion select. Zero team cooperation does NOT, however, always mean you're going to lose- it's just a lot more likely. Use your best judgement and make a play. Looks like you made one you felt was worth it. Not really much more you can do as a human being, amiright?
