Introduction
In this guide I'm going to detail the two different ways that I play Riven: Jungle and Solo Top. I have been fairly successful with both of these roles:
STILL IN PROGRESS.
I believe that jungle Riven is one of the strongest level two gankers. As such, I normally will start with a Doran's Blade to ensure the maximum amount of damage output for the level two gank. Another great part about Riven is that she is a mana-less champ which allows you to feed Blue buff to your mid (which is always appreciated).
To start I will have a teammate leash double golems. I will kill one golem, smite the other and finish it up. With the experience masteries I should be level two as long as no experience is stolen. After this, I will move around to the river bush and wait for the enemy to start laning comfortably. I will generally flash out of the bush and stun with W. This will ensure that I get the initial stun off and get maximum damage out of my Q. While I don't always get a kill off my level two gank, I will almost always make the enemy blow a flash and become extremely defensive allowing my team to lane comfortably.
After the level 1 gank, I will generally head to wraiths and wolves unless my gank left me at very low health. In summary, this is my normal pattern:
Double Golems -> Level two Gank -> Wraiths -> Wolves -> Blue Pill -> Blue Golem (feed to mid)
