The build i use for riven, works amazingly well. Ever since i bought the Battle-Bunny Riven skin, I've been playing her more often(I usually only play people i have skins for). So far as i have been playing her, i only play her top lane. i tried jungler, i did fine but not as well as i did as a top lane riven.

For runes, i would go with flat AD and flat armor/flat MR. If you are doing draft mode i would suggest runeing against the player you are laning against. I would do red and quints as attack damage and the rest of the runes a defense setup.

For masteries, i would go all offense, because your ult applies to the "executioner" mastery quite well. After going into AD offense you should hybrid MR and armor and go for the bonus HP. in the end it will sustain you, even if you don't notice.

What i do with riven is i get Boots of speed first item, and 3 health pots. before you upgrade your boots(if there is a hard stun in your lane rush the mercury treads, if not continue with this section) build into a wriggles lantern, because with top lane, the ward and the lifesteal sustain allows you to lane forever and score kills/CS without having the devastating effects of recalling. After you get your wriggles start working towards an Aeigis of the Legion, because it is the cheapest item to give you hybrid tankiness, also some damage to go along with it. The next item on your list should be Bloodthirster, because it gives the most DMG in the game, and it also allows you to heal off of 1 auto attack for around 200. Maw of Malimortus is another great item because the build is only lacking MR, and since this item, it allows many bruisers/carries to build AD and MR which is a tremendous bonus to them. The next item is trinity force, becasue the slow/sheen proc allow your passive to be at its fully potential.

The skill sequence i use is max Q then W then E. to max your damage out. when using your abilities you should be auto attacking in between abilities(unless it is a chase). when your lane you want to keep on harrassing the enemy. If you're lucky enough you would get a champion like nasus, who needs his farm to be good(what im trying to say is, if you keep the enemy from farming, you keep them from killing the rest of your team late game).

the summoner spells i use is Exhaust, and Ignite. I use these spells because riven has enough escape abilities, and i like to focus on offense, although you can use exhaust defensively. If you're jungling i would suggest exhaust and smite.

In conclusion this build really works. I have not lost a SINGLE game yet when i play riven, if you want proof look at match history (Lawn Sprinkler) <---- IGN (Do not add me, i will decline it) **PS** When i play games my match history erases, which means after a while my riven match history will recede.
