Introduction

Hi, I'm Chunned. This is my first guide, so all feedback is appreciated. I'm not a very high ranked player, but my understanding of the game is far, far greater than my abilities :D I've tested this build out and it works very well. You really don't even need a leash to do your first clear - you'll just be like 300-400 higher health, which will allow you to gank easier.

Riven is a great champion, still a powerhouse even when she loses lane - although in this guide, you won't have to worry about that. The most you'll have to worry about is your jungle being stolen, which is quite easily prevented by good warding and teamwork.

Runes & Masteries

Don't really have too much to say about these. Standard runes, you will always want to take those. The only exceptions is if they are a rather tanky team (3+ tanks) take a few armour penetration marks.

Masteries are very important. I don't really have comments for those, but take them. Trust me. The 3 pots instead of 2 is extremely helpful.

Mobile
Large shield with a low cooldown
Very powerful ultimate
High burst damage
All abilities scale with AD
Very fun overall


Kinda squishy late game
Has no sustain
Very difficult against high CC
Must go all in 100% of the time if you want a kill (unless picking off someone with your ult)

Summoner Spells

I always take flash on Riven as a last escape tool. IF and only if you're playing against a team with EXTREMELY low mobility, Teleport or Ignite are options, but 99% of the time take flash.

You're a jungler. Case in point.
