This is my first build so... Well i started using Riven after i bough Talon. I decided to get because i was good with squishy assassins and riven didn't need mana. After my first couple of games i noticed Riven had a similar build to talon but it was slightly different but the difference was very important. Riven thrives off AD because it fuels all of her ability's. I started experimenting with her and i came up with this build but the most important part of it is that u have to rush the BF Sword before 15m. Why do you ask? Because early game rivens ability's are a bit OP (especially if you have all 3) and if you get a bf sword your burst will do tremendous damage to anyone no matter who you are laneing against. For your burst i would recommend starting with your E, then land your W so they are stunned, after that use broken wings (make sure u hit in between broken wings to insure most dmg possible from her passive) then they should have minimum health (if done correctly) if not then finish them off with your ult or ignite.

Something I do different then other builds:
1. Wrigglers Lantern- This item is very important because of the free ward it gives you and the bonus stats. Since you are going to get fed people are going to want to gank you so you put the ward by dragon to look for sneaky Warwicks/Udyrs.
2. The Hexdrinker- This item is important because before i started using it i found myself bieng killed by mages with stuns (Vieger, Morgana, Lux, ect....) the bonus shield helps you get away along with your ability's.

Pros:
- Can 1 burst most enemys
- lots of damage
- Cooldown reduction
- Very easy lane sustain
- Free ward

Cons:
- Rather squishy
- Stuns/Snares can really hurt this Champ
- If the burst is not preformed correctly it can kill you (because of cooldowns)
- If focused in team fight you can die very fast

Farming is difficult with riven until mid game (basically useless at that point). Early game when you get your W use it to farm with its AOE affect.
