Introduction

Hello everyone. I'm just a normal riven main and I decided to make guide about how I play riven. Feel free to ask questions for me if you aren't sure about something.

Summoner spells

*Outplay
*Can save you
*You can flash to back line

*More kill pressure and even better snowball

*Better map pressure
*Harder to get set back
*You can split push better

Pros / Cons

PROS:
* High snowball potential
* High mobility
* Scales nicely with ad
* High damage in every stage of the game
* Knock up, stun and bonus ad scaling shield

CONS:
* Hard to master
* Usually needs flash in tf's
* Useless when behind
* No sustain

Teamfighting

Pretty simple. The point is to flash to the back line and kill all the carries. It can be pretty hard though, because of cc. If enemy team has a lot cc like Amumu, Nautilius, Leona etc. you should always wait until they use their cc. When you flash to the back line you should use e ult cancel before you f so you can do your combos fast as possible. Shy combo is imo best combo for killing carries, but it can be pretty hard to do.

Animation canceling with e:
You can use riven's e to animation cancel q or r (both Blade of the exile and wind slash). This is done by pressing e before q or r. You should use this mostly on r cancel, because it has a long cast time.

Hydra/w animation cancel:
You can use hydra and w at the same time by just simply using hydra first and then w rapidly.
