Riven Build Guide by Nighthawk

@Night, I don't give a **** about Rose's guide nor do I care about pretty pictures. My statement is just that it is really short and has a lot of flaws. Hence I downvoted. I didn't even look at Rose's guide once and if there is someone who looks past the pretty pics, it's me.

You asked me yourself, if you didn't have skyped me about it, I probably would have never read the damn thing. Thanks for being such a good sport though.

Actually it's quite the opposite. You don't go into detail at all about any gameplay elements or anything else that actually makes a guide worth reading. You've presented a build and explained it very briefly. Your guide doesn't lack information because you skipped the basics, it lacks anything BUT the basics.

I've played Riven as my primary top laner for a while and I learned quite a bit from Rose's guide. Your guide is obviously less visually appealing, but I didn't even hone in on that as a reason for my downvote. His simply has much more content, a lot of it quite useful.

I honestly don't think I could learn much from this past the cheatsheet, which is the main problem. Even if I 100% agreed with your build, it needs to have more substance and depth to be a quality guide.

You forgot to build boots:P,build Hexdrinker early and also,try building Wriggle's Lantern.

Nice guide even though i like to play her off tank. really nice dps and early game beast

I agree with Blackice, Grandmaster and Psi, because your guide is just so short, and it is really missing explanations about stuff.. in Summoner spells section you dont really give great reasons about why exhaust >ignite, and at end you say: 'I just prefer exhaust'. People wanna know WHY they dont care what the author of guide perfers.. they wanna know why and not just 1 reason, but hella load more.

I saw you said : Cheat sheet is there just for ppl judging about it only (or soemthing like that)
Yet, in masteries and runes setion you refer to cheat sheet about what runes are 'These runes are without a doubt the best runes for Riven.' No runes are perfect for any champion. You always secrefise something to get other thing (lets say, you secrefise AD to get arPen.) And games are different, one you may play against a guy with no armour and have AD runes and pwn, next time you play against Rammus, with ad runes and you cant even hurt him. So runes are never whitout a doubt the best.

In items section you say: 'If you built Hexdrinker feel free to buy Maw of Malmortius, but don't ever rush it and never buy it before a The Bloodthirster' NEVER? what if you play against 5x AP carry that go full ap? think about extremes, LoL isnt a game you can forsee what will happen. LoL is a very momental game, where you must make choices evrey second. You are writing your guide like its Holy Bible. Guides MUST NOT be like those!
Another sample :'You should never max Valor first though.'

ITs also very welcome if you add some samples of : masteries, skill sequances and runes. At all above things you relly on cheat sheet, which you said its only for noobs.

Also, i think your build is waaaay to offensive, and your building riven like a carry with 1 def item..
But that isnt not a flaw, evrey guide is different.

Also, im not trying to insoult you or sumthing, just wanna make your guide better :)

Sorry, but building that way leaves you sooooooooooooooo vulnerable, you can't even use full combo(tried by myself long time ago)

Not hating on the build, nor am I hating on the guidde, but im trying to sudgest changes and tell author what isnt good in the guide.
