The items I've given Riven are meant to fortify her speed and damage extremely, to the near brink of death in a single combo. Feel free to replace anything. But heres a tip: If the team doesn't have a tank or someone with alot of health, use a Black Cleaver instead of a Madred's. If you're getting targeted, use a Frozen Mallet instead of a Trinity Force. Thats all I can say.
