Hello, this is my first attempt of a guide. I've experimented with Riven quite a lot and tried many builds without much luck, this guide is the build I've had the most success with. While I'm not the best player at LoL I feel this guide would be great for experienced and new players to League of Legends.

With Riven players must play her aggressively and take advantage of mistakes other opponent summoners make... while making sure you don't make any of of your own. Riven is a great punisher and poker within battles, she can dish out a great deal of damage in a short amount of time. Although Riven's a great damage dealer, she's very squishy and cannot take much pressure in group or ganks upon her. With that said Riven's also a great escape artist with a very low cool-down of abilities that she can access making escape almost 75% always successful.

Riven - ''There is a place between war and murder / in which our demons lurk.''

Runic Blade - After Riven uses a ability the next auto attack is increased by a fraction of Riven's attack damage.Riven passive ability allows her to add additional damage between abilities to increase the damage produced by her, it's important to take advantage of her passive by quick auto-attacks while "comboing" to stay ahead in each fight.
Broken Wings - A Three part aoe ability that if used in a combination with others to deal great damage, Riven's last proc knocks back targets. Broken Wings is one of my favourite abilities in League of Legends due how situational the ability is. Broken Wings can be spammed quickly to dish out great damage when harassing enemy summoners, or used to interrupt spells such as Miss Fortune's Bullet Time or Nunu & Willump's Absolute Zero ultimate.
Ki Burst - A great ability not only does it stun the target for a short time it also does decent damage. Ki Burst Is a tricky ability just like Riven's other abilities it can be used differently in each encounter. Quickly stunning a target when escaping is a very viable option in fights. Additionally Ki Burst is a great ability for killing minions for gold.
Valor - A dash move that also shields Riven from damage, along with Riven's other abilities Valor procs her passive. This ability is fantastic it shields Riven from harm for a short period of time and also dashes her inbetween conflicts. Valor scales off Riven's attack damage also meaning the higher Riven's attack damage, the higher the burst of incoming damage she can resist.
Blade of the Exile - This ability boosts Riven's attack damage by 20% while also extending the reach of her blade, Further more summoners can proc the ultimate to deal damage in a cone. Blade of the Exile is Riven's ultimate it increases her damage considerably, not only should it be used at the beginning of fights for the boost, procing her ability a second time allows her to finish foes at a distance. This ability also scales off how low the opposition's health is...it deals more damage by % of health missing from the target.
