I guess it's fair. I guess I saw nothing but downvotes and overreacted a little.

Runes - 4 out of 5 skills scale with armor penetration. Maybe the base damage is so low that she can't get by with armor pen runes, idk.
Masteries - I could try 21/9/0, but I don't think I'd like not having CDR.
Items - It feels like decent damage when I try it out. Pretty good anti-carry damage, trades well with others. I don't think she's supposed to build glass cannon. What's wrong with Wriggle's? I see it on Lee Sin all the time, and he wrecks things with it. Which of the stats don't help Riven?
Heal - I'm pretty sure I explained it. It's like an extra shield to pick up some slack, like when E isn't ready yet. It also keeps you in lane longer. Duck into bush, heal, stun, shield... Riven's back in the fight. It makes it that much more discouraging to dive Riven. Ignite is debateable, as it might secure early kills. "Every situation" is just false, though. Situation: Riven is at 5% health. Enemy is at 50%, wants to dive. Staying alive long enough to force them to take *one* additional turret shot beats an ignite early on, maybe two or three shots later. It's also easier to get a kill and not die in this case, where Ignite is more likely to lead to one for one. Another situation: You need allies to stay in a fight, but they're kind of low on health. Keeping your mage in the fight long enough to drop another round of burst contributes a *lot* more damage than an ignite.

I can't help but notice that your history pages is a big streak of red... downvote much?

Bad runes: Riven needs flat AD because she scales so well with it, All 5 skills scale with it.
Bad masteries: Riven needs Armor pen and AD from offensive to snowball easier early on.
Bad items: Not enough dmg. Also Wriggles is horrible.
Heal: Why would you take heal? Ignite is better in every situation.

Thanks. I see you did a lot of formatting stuff and have consulted with a lot of people for yours.

I haven't done quite as much here, but I think from watching games, I finally figured out to some small degree what Riven is about... if you have to chase her into the brush, it's probably not worth it. X-D

Have you played Riven before/much?

I also posted something about Zyra... http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/duo-top-smiteless-jungle-zyra-winning-in-the-5v4-meta-231837

I really am considering these changes. I'm just not committed yet. W+E leveling indeed scales with AD where Q doesn't because of cooldowns, so they're good if you're getting fed. Clearing minions with high-level Q is super easy, though. Maybe I'd lean Q if I'm doing badly.

Good at all, but you should take armor pen from offence tree

Hmmm. Maybe. I don't really like any of the options for how to get there, though. :(

Your build is pretty solid, but you do need to do some cosmetic work on your guide. Riven is a great solo top but I would suggest running Straight AD runes over the armor penn, and i'd also suggest Maxing your W over your Q, yes your Q scales well with damage this is true, but the cd isn't affected at all by level. Leveling your W first will overall increase your DPS. Maybe list some situational items, and item descriptions.

Hmmm. Some reasoning on the reds? Are they that much stronger at level 1? Clearly they fall off late-game. Riven is a bit unique in that Valor uses bonus AD but not armor pen, so there's that.

What's the leveling order, then? W>Q, but what do you do with E? Is Q last because E also gets a lower cooldown? Not having E available can be frustrating...

The builds are ok but theres a lack of coding. I also reccomend putting your pros and cons towards the begging of the guide.

Thanks.

It is a bit rushed, and she's not my main. She might become my go-to solo top, though. But for now I'm looking for feedback and ideas much more than I'm concerned about presentation.
