In my opinion is one of the best Solo Top champions, even when you have to lane against two opponents. I am planning to try out jungle and when I like it make a guide for that too. Pros:

Riven's abilities charge her blade, causing her basic attacks to deal bonus physical damage. Riven's blad may be charged up three times and expends one charge per attack.

A pretty usefull passive, with your you can get the maximum amount of stacks, which makes you dealing more damage.



Riven lashes out in a series of strikes. This ability can be reactivated three times in a short frame with the third hit knocking back nearby enemies.

A really good gap-closer, because you can close the distance between you and your opponent pretty easy with use of this and and you'll knock them up in the air giving you the time using your .



Riven emits a Ki Burst, damaging and stunning nearby enemies.

An amazing abilitie. With use of this you can disable one or even more champions of the enemy team. Becaus you got two gap-closers, you can chase down an enemy pretty easy.



Riven steps forward a short distance and blocks incoming damage.

Again an amazing abilitie. Jump into the fight with this like a real tank, stun them with without taking too much damage.



Riven empowers her keepsake weapon and gains attack damage and range. Additionally during this time, she gains the ability to use Wind Slash once, a powerful ranged attack.

This is the ability which helps you winning almost every 1v1 fight. Even when you're low, combine this with your other abilities and when you see they are getting low, finish them with Wind Slash.

I take a point in at level one, because when the enemy team are going to invade you can disable them with the knock up, and doing quite a lot of damage combined with . When I've reached level two, I take a point in . When I've done this I can go harrass a little bit. Reaching level three I get and now I can harrass even more because I can keep attacking with protecting me. Of course I take a point in at level 6, 11 and 16. I max first, because of the fact that it is her main disable ability. After maxing , I max , because of the shield. When you think you don't really need the help of the shield you can max second for more damage output.

When you are solo top, Teleport can be your best friend. When you are taking unnecessary damage or want to get some more damage early, you can just go back, buy your stuff and use your teleport. It also comes in handy when you have died early and don't want to miss any farm.



I think Flash is a must on every solo top champion. You can stun the junglers ganking you with your and escape with and , but to make sure you'll always get away, flash can be your best friend too. It helps with chasing people as well.

Alternative spell:



Good spell to chase your opponents or when you take a point in Summoner's Wrath in offense, it can help you in 1v1 fights.
