Hi! I've been maining Riven since November 2014, I've went from gold 1 to diamond within 4 month of playing her. I've started playing Riven because of her great mobility, damage and play style. Feel free to comment on the guide, since it's my first :)

I've used to play Riven top with ignite, but it seems much more efficient to have teleport, here are some reasons
1. You have something to fall back on
2. If you ask your botlane to ward the second bush, you can teleport to it and pick up a nice double kill when their botlane overextends
3. You can split push
4. You can back door (pretty much the same as split pushing buuuuut)
5. You can join team fights easier
6. You can steal dragons and barons with a nice teleport ult
These are just some of the reasons I like to run teleport on Riven, but it's of course just a personal preference.

So, as Riven there are a lot of fun comboes and animation cancels, I won't got too much in the animation canceling, but if you wanna learn it there are tons of videos on youtube about it.
Her basic trade combo on lane would be, E, Q, AA, Q, AA, W, Q, AA. It depends on the match up of course how deep you wanna go and how many abilities you wanna use.
In teamfights if you see them all stand together you should Q 2 times, then use your E, R, Flash, 3th Q, W, AA, Hydra, R. Hopefully your team follows up or you get a penta ;)

After you got your Tiamats, farming should be a problem, just Q, AA, Q, AA, Tiamats, Q, W. And you cleared a wave. You should got for the 200 cs at 20 min, but in some cases farming will be a *****.
