+1 I like the guide. Very in depth with great item choices. I love going with guardian angel 2nd makes me very hard to kill. However I was just wondering why you dont go with Q over W as much? Q gives heavy burst early game and it scales nicely. For my skills I usually go Q W E Q Q R.

I don't go Q over W because of cooldowns. Also, W has single shot burst, while you have to land all three hits of Q, and MOST people aren't going to stick around to get slammed by every hit unless you keymash Q hits, which leaves you with significantly lower DPS if you never autoattack between them.

I've never come across many circumstances that make me wish I had skilled Q first.

Riven - Valor for All

Made an account just to upvote, great guide! I've just started playing riven and I already love it, there's a few things I need to practice more but that's nothing out of the ordinary. :D

I love how you explain your reasoning behind everything, and offer alternatives. All in all, thanks for all your effort!

if you want i could send some amazing scores to you while using your guide. It could be good with some proofs that this guide actually is op. I think your guide need a section with awesome scores so if people have a feeling that this guide is **** they could change their mind.

Thanks, guys! I actually make a point not to post a bunch of scores because it comes across as a bit too circumstantial. I mean, you can follow this guide, be a productive member of the team, try your hardest, and play well; but the scores won't objectively show that. You can have few kills and die a lot, but maybe you were forced to initiate a bunch of fights. Or maybe it was just a terribly played game. You could have an incredible amount of kills because you were doing incredibly well, but you also could have just jumped in and taken the last hit on champs and stolen kills from others.

In almost any case, scores don't prove anything, and I personally scroll right past them in guides because I don't believe they offer any additional information.

Thanks for the offer, though. I know a lot of other guides use scores and things, so I wanted to be clear why I don't use them. I also don't want you feeling like I just turned you down coldly.

And if people feel like this guide is ****, they are welcome to think that. But they won't ever be good Riven players. :)

+1 from me! i main riven, and this guide is very accurate. I find that the dorans stacking is the best way to start, especially if you have to solo top against two champs. Also i think you should mention how she starts to "fall back" around the 40 minute mark, which is why she needs to snowball early. overall tough, amazing guide, keep updating it (: hopefully riven gets a buff for late game :O
