Summary of Riven in teamfights
Hello, this will be my first time making a build. Its not smart to do it on the champion that has been recently released by I think this build will be perfect towards Riven due to the decent damage and is able to withstand teamfights with a bit of armor, hp and magic resist
Rivens broken Runes
For runes, I use Armor penatration marks and Quintessence, health Seals and Magic resist glyphs. I perfer hp seals than armor seals is because everyones first reaction to a large amount of hp would mean that you could be trouble towards them. With decent armor and high amounts of magic resist and an abnormal amount of hp in lane phase, you would most likely control your lane.
For Riven, I go 21/6/3. With the raw damage, decent defense and reduce death spend, I think this would keep u alive throughout the teamfights and are able to dish out the damage and are able to live longer.
Broken items for the broken blade
For items I start off with dorans blade. It will give you the hp and the damage as well. I believe this is the best you could start off with Riven. Frozen mallet is a good item because ur able to slow down ur target and punish them for overextending or running away from a fight. It also gives you the huge hp you would love to have because no one will be able to kill you and you would have the abliity to dive for the half dead champs or super squishies. Infinity edge is also a good item because it gives a nice damage increase and it also gives you a critical chance of doing a critical. This with ur passive, would reach the max amount of damage in the cookie jar. Now you should get Youmuu's ghostblade. This item gives your armor penatration for those who have armor or to dish out more damage to those who doesnt have any armor. The next two items depends on the other team. I perfer Radiums Omen and Banshees Veil. These two items gives decent amout of hp and gives out enough resist you are lacking. If your fighting a hard dps, I perfer Frozen heart instead of Radiums. If Someone like Yi, Trynd are wrecking you, the passive on frozen heart will lower their attack speed and gives you a nice amount of armor. The active on Youmuu's Ghost blade and Radiums Omen will go perfect with Riven because with Youmuu's you would go twice as fast when your radium Omen is active on the enemy champion. But it all depends on the other team.
Broken skill Sequence
For skill sequence, it all depends on the fights. If say, your doing a 1v1 with an ap caster, I suggest you would use Valor first to have that nice shield. I would also turn use Broken wings, normal attack for the passive, Broken wings again, normal attack. Right before you Broken wings again, you should Ki Burst for the stun and jump right where they would be running to to knock them back a bit so they wouldnt try to run away when they are losing. Your Valor should be up at this point. If your fighting a hard dps like yi, do the same thing but turn on your ultimate: Blade of the Excile. It will boost your damage by 20% and you would have a slight increase on range. Your skills would also improve as well from its normal state. In teamfights you should turn on your ultimate and disout as much damage as possible. If anyone from the enemy team starts to run away I would suggest you would use your ultimate Wind slash to finish off the enemy that is running AND you would dish out the damage on others who are low as well.
Exhaust and Ignite hands down. They are good for both offense and defense. But there are other spells that could be good for Riven. Flash is another good one. It could be used as offense or defense. Cleanse could also be good for Riven when there alot of Crowd control on the other team as well. other than that, those spells would be good for Riven, thick and thin.
The Broken blade always has a good ending
AS to rap things up here, in the end, Riven wold ave alot of hp and resistance. This will help Riven to stay in team fights longer than others and is still able to dishout the damage shes supposed to be throwing out. Please give me some feedback for the guide. The first one always have mistakes, does it not?
