Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
This is my first build on this website, and its just a test. Everything in the guide is geared towards his survivability and his high laning and ability to gank/teamfight.
The runes are made to help his AP boost up and to make him hit harder as well as making his shield more sustainable. Penetration is for hitting even harder.
Masteries are made to assist his ignite to help him get ganks and first blood easier, and to make his fortify better. Mainly to increase his lane survivability seeing as he has horrid defenses.
Rylais is for its great slow and for hp and to boost his AP.
Ionia boots to lower his CD letting him spam more spells.
Malady is for lowering enimies MR and to get a small AP boost as well as more Attack Speed for when you over heat.
Void Staff is to buff AP even more and for its Magic Pen.
Hourglass is to give him more armor to survive longer, as well as more AP, And its active will help rumble wait for allies or to wait for his Shield to come up to allow him to get away or survive a turret dive.
Guardian's Angel is just a filler item for slot six, mainly for his survivability and to get a free res to make him more dangerous.
If the enemy is AP based or your having uses against casters use an Abyssal Scepter for more AP and MR as well as lowering Enemy MR.
Mercury's Threads if you find CCs to be an issue or your being Focused.
Skill Sequence is a matter of preference i choose this way because its useful to have each skill but the Flamespitter is great for laning and for getting more kills. Shield is great for surviving and for speed to get away or to run in for a gank. Electroharpoon is for chasing and harassing. Your Ulti is great allowing you to use it for team fights for hitting people in team fights hurting them for leaving or hurting them when they enter. It is also good for defending your turret in a pinch.
Ignite - Good for ganking.
Fortify - Good for defending the turret and if you want to drop a point in the mastery.
Exhaust - Good for slowing people to line up your allies for kills and helps team fights.
Ghost - Helps your already nice escaping abilities.
Teleport - Good for getting back into the action and to lower down time.
Heal - Heals rumbles bad health regeneration.
Cleanse - Helps him escape and increases survivability never been a fan of this.
Revive - Not a fan of this but if you like it helps him get back up if you die a lot.
Flash - Helps him escape and helps his survivability.
Smite - Unless you like to jungle or need those buffs.
Clairvoyance - No one uses Clairvoyance.
Rally - No need unless your really wanna use rally.
Clarity - No mana no need.
