Ghost Or Flash

The purpose of these summoner spells is that it will enable Udyr to have a much greater presence in the game all together by grabbing Flash it enables for you to easily engage on fights and even peel for your carries. Great ways to use flash just like I had said before is that you can use this to give you even more mobility that you already had, letting you engage and disengage on fights and even allow you to flash over walls to steal some objectives. Your main goal as an Udyr in team fights is to stun whoever is dealing the most damage to your team so by using flash along with your Blazing Stampede then follow up with Wingborne Storm you will then deal tons of damage. In conclusion this summoner spell offers you much more than grabbing Ghost because if you get this instead of Flash then you will be easily out kited by champions with slows or stuns and you can easily miss out on many opportunities during fights.

Quintessences
By running movement speed this will enable you to increase your overall clear in the jungle and allow you to take a great lead, even if its just by a couple seconds this time will add up and the levels that you have over the rest of the players in the game will for sure show. Basically by running movement speed this will enable you to get ahead of the enemy team and allow you to be less prone to slows since of course you will be faster. Just by a couple seconds you can pull of a gank faster than the enemy jungler would have been able to because you got there first, there is honestly no other quintessences that will work for Udyr jungle, because movement speed is just the best thing that you could possibly do for this beast since you will also gain movement speed by using your Blazing Stampede

Glyphs
By running cool down reduction on Udyr it allows for you to be able to get all of your already low cooldown stances up much faster and allow for you to deal tons of damage, also by grabbing the cooldown reduction glyphs you will be able to use your Iron Mantle much more during jungle clear which will enable you to sustain longer in the jungle and help you to get ahead of the enemy. The magic resist that I included in these runes will enable you to tank out a bit of magic damage that may come to a surprise to you during the early game making you more tanky just as Udyr should be.

Marks
By running attack speed marks you will be able to increase your jungle clear speed and also your strength during fights because this will enable you to output more damage using Wingborne Storm since after every few hits you will then deal an aoe burst of flames dealing magic damage. Attack speed is great for Wingborne Storm since it makes Udyr stronger over all. Also by running attack speed (which you should be doing for most junglers anyways) will enable you to gain more sustain by using Iron Mantle in the jungle since this will increase your lifesteal.

Seals
By running armor on Udyr you are making him that tanky beast that you can never run away from and fitting him into his role perfectly. Making champions such as Udyr that will get kited very easily by other champions means that you will have to tank out a lot of damage before you can even land some hits on the enemy sometimes. In conclusion you must run armor on Udyr or else you will be much to squishy and vulnerable to early game damage that will put you behind greatly.

Abilities

Passive: Bridge Between

Description: Entering a stance grants Udyr 10% Attack Speed and 5 Movement Speed for a short duration. This
effect can stack up to 3 times.

Summary: Udyr's passive makes him much quicker when farming the jungle, makes him do more damage during ganks, proc Phoenix third attacks more frequently, and be able to stick to people when he is chasing them. t gives 10% attack speed and 5 movement speed per stack. It is pretty easy to keep three stacks on Udyr at all times you just need to swap stances at the correct times to maximize its effectiveness. If you are about to lose stacks, switch forms as long as your mana allows you to.

Q Wilding Claw
Description: Persistent Effect: Basic attacks deal 0*AD bonus physical damage, and Udyr will perform a Tiger Strike with his first basic attack, dealing bonus 30/80/130/180/230 physical damage over 2 seconds.
Activation: Increases Attack Speed by 30/40/50/60/70% for 5 seconds.

Summary: Tiger Stance is mostly a top lane Udyr skill, and only useful on jungle Udyr to take down Dragon, Baron or Towers since it is your only other offensive stance aside from Phoenix.

W: Iron Mantle

Description: Persistent Effect: Gains 10/12/14/16/18% Life Steal.
Activation: Gains a shield that absorbs 60/100/140/180/220 (+0.5*AP) damage for 5 seconds.

Summary: Turtle Stance is good to max secondly as it helps you stay healthy and regen health in the jungle. It is also great for absorbing damage or tower shots in a team fight. A high rank in Turtle Stance will save your life very often. It is also a great way to bait out some damage that you can negate with this ability. Note that Turtle Stance no longer regenerates mana, only health per auto attack.

E: Blazing Stampede

Description: Persistent Effect: Basic attacks stun the target for 1 second. This effect cannot occur on the same target again for 5 seconds.
Activation: Increases Movement Speed by 15/20/25/30/35% and ignores unit collision for 2/2.3/2.5/2.8/3 seconds.
Cost

Summary: Bear Stance is the ability that allows you to gank effectively. You gain a movement speed buff whenever you activate Bear Stance and you also move through units for 2-3 seconds. If you attack a target with Bear stance activated you stun the target for one second. You can only stun the same target 6 seconds after the first stun, this means that he can literally run around during a team fight and stun each member of the enemy team once.

R: Wingborne Storm

Description: Persistent Effect: Burns enemies in front of Udyr on his first basic attack and every third attack after, dealing 40/80/120/160/200 (+0.45*AP) magic damage.
Activation: Unleashes pulsing waves of fire, dealing 15/25/35/45/55 (+0.25*AP) magic damage each second to nearby enemies for 5 seconds.

Summary: Phoenix Stance should be maxed first because this ability is how Udyr clears the jungle so fast and it is his primary damage ability when performing ganks. It does damage around Udyr on activation and it also does significant damage to targets in front of Udyr every first and third auto attack after activation.

Your Role

How to gank:
As phoenix Udyr, when you gank lanes, you Iron Mantle, and run in with Blazing Stampede, stun, then switch to Wingborne Storm and keep using Wingborne Storm, until about 5-7 seconds later, and stun with Blazing Stampede again. you want to keep walking in FRONT of them, since you're playing utility and you'll be faster than them, don't just right click and hope for the best. in teamfights, it's all on your role, as a peeler you want to Iron Mantle and Blazing Stampede often, if you're fed and you're just carrying, Blazing Stampede a carry, then just beat them with Wingborne Storm and Iron Mantle only when you need to.
Zone enemy carries in teamfights (Zoning is extremely important and is the major advantage of Udyr in teamfights, you just run around everywhere peeling and applying pressure on ennemy carries all the time with your stun and your tons of damage) when Wingborne Storm comes up, ALWAYS use it. you want to proc that flame breath as many times because it deals so much damage.

After you gank(and kill someone) a lane, push it and apply pressure, tax the next wave of that lane if you can. Afterwards, see if the enemy jungler is on the map or not, so you know whether you can tax their jungle. Udyr requires extreme map awareness. You must know where everyone is on the map. Knowing where everyone is lets you make better decisions. You need map awareness for every jungler.

Farm like crazy (you should average 120+ at 20mins, and like 170+ at 30-35mins, even though I admit that in higher elo it gets a bit harder to get to this since the laning phase ends much earlier and games progress faster).

Gank as much as possible without compromising too much farm

Do not gank to apply pressure, gank to kill

When you push towers you should constantly switch stance to proc the trinity and kill the tower faster
