I agree with the item choice, but not the order of purchase.

I generally will buy Boots of Speed and Tear of the Goddess first. After that, I finish Sorcerers Boots. Then I would buy Glacial Shroud for the CDR, Armor, and Mana. If a heavy AP is poking me hard, I buy a Negatron cape first and Glacial Shroud after for the above mentioned effects. If I am the one doing the poking, I finish Frozen Heart first start a Catalyst Crystal to move either into Odin's veil or Rod of Ages depending on the match so far (Generally, I will have Sorc boots, Tear, Glacial Shroud, Odin's veil completed because the bot player will generally be AP heavy so I won't need to finish the Frozen heart just yet).

By the time the match is over, I will have Tear of the Goddess, Sorcerers Boots, Odin's Veil, Frozen Heart, and either Rod of Ages, Void Staff and/or Haunting Guise (If the enemy team has really built MR). If I built only Haunting Guise, then I will build the Tear of the Goddess into Manamune (it is much cheaper than Archangels Staff and has more use in some cases) if the enemy team also has a decent bit of silence. You will almost never get past 5 completed items unless they're all cheap items. I like that you only list 5 so as to show what an average build is.

Other than that, the build is good and so is the guide.

I forgot to mention that I use a different set of Masteries as well. I use 10/17/3 and I use Ghost and Revive Spells if I am bot.

Why do I use this combination? It might seem like a waste to have revive because of the long CD, BUT if you save it for when they are pushing your bottom tower, you can use revive and ghost to get there VERY fast and generally unexpected to either kill them quickly while they are unprepared (I've done this multiple times to get double kills after I was just killed). You have to be able to judge WHEN it is the right time to use it though which makes it difficult to use correctly as 1 mistake can cost your team possibly the match if you don't have it ready for when it really is needed.

Should I make a guide that highlights my points for this?

Well i took many things you've said (tharcide) into consideration and have acted upon many of those things. PM if something still bothers you.

I still don't think you understand. You should be able to throw the Overload and Rune Prison almost @ the same time. Is it that difficult to throw an overload first? It's almost always better.
Three Reasons.
1. You will snare them basically the same time anyway
2. You will have overload off cooldown earlier
3. Isn't much of a problem on Dominion but if the target has an ability that blocks a spell your overload will pop it allowing your Rune Prison to get through.

Downvoted because of reasons previously stated.

And here is the math on the Cooldown reduction that you obviously overlooked.

9% CDR from Masteries.
10% CDR from level 5 Overload.
20% CDR from frozen heart.
that is 39% CDR. Because the game doesn't allow CDR after 40% CDR there is no need for the Glyphs of Focus that you have in your build.
No big deal though.

You don't need the mana regen on dominion, Masteries and Runes.
Good Hands is better than Perseverance, especially in dominion.

You have 42.9% CDR, but it's capped @ 40. But the runes may help for a stronger early game, tis interesting. +3.9% @ beginning can be good.

However, because you don't get glacial shroud very early (+15% CDR) :X Idk doesn't seem like you put much thought into the CDR on ryze

Getting Archangels that early(Second build) is a mistake. The damage @ that point is inferior to the Rod of ages, which you could have built in its place.
If you were going for a full out Damage build only... Perhaps getting the staff directly after Rod of Ages would be better.

Looking @ your Team 2 build for Ryze.... And comparing it to your first build.
It's exactly the same. Except you buy negatron cloak before catalyst when building odyn;s veil. Which is a mistake. And you have a weird chain vest @ the end of the third build. Some people like building a thornmail @ the end, which is cool if that is what it builds into.
But I don't think I've ever had a game long enough that you can build a 6th item on Ryze.

As for your suggestion to Rune Prison first. I'd rather do this...
If you are afraid he'll get away, get in range to Rune Prison, and then do your full Combo.
1. Hold Shift and have mouse over the enemy
a. Q,W,E wait a bit, and Q again
OR
b. Q,W,R,E,Q

You can throw all spells basically at the same time. Don't waste Arcane Mastery and throw rune prison before overload if you can avoid it.

However, you may be right in some circumstances. If you don't cast the Rune Prison fast enough after the first Overload you'll be crying. So judge it right.
But you can fire spells so fast if you smartcast... that you can almost always fire two spells on a guy if they are in range, so Overload should be first.

also, If you read the guide, you'd notice its for ganking. so when you have a couple people with you, snaring them first helps THE WHOLE TEAM and then you can continue to kill them with Overload.

i cant see how rod of ages is even a choice in dominion. ryzhe is meant to be built with mana defense items and completly shuts down anyone when built that way. Not ap

I challenge you to reconsider your vote, i understand that ryze needs alot of mana, but ap is not the only thing Rod of Ages gives you. you recive MANA.. HEALTH... ANND some AP. it also has a stack that helps you in all three of these catagories. so maybe try it. a few times. and maybe you joined today as a fake account..... just sayin.......
