Ryze (as of Rengar patch) is one of the most if not best AP carries in the league... of legends.

Honestly this **** bores me just copy mine, if you want to change it up be my guess, if you are buying tier 3 runes you should be level 20 anyways, so you understand how this game works and what runes work with certain champs. (AP for ap chams, AD for ad, tanky for tankts etc...)

Starting items. Stop trying to be unorthodox and go something other than boots 3 pots. Mana crystal 2 pots seems like a popular choice that you see often. Now how often does those mana 2 pot guys do well? Exactly, if you are mid and you aren't going boots 3 pots as ryze or most ap carries you are **** tier and gtfo.

Why are you saying such nonsense?
Boots is superior to mana crystal because of one thing, the movement speed. You are able to dodge stuns a lot easier, run from ganks a lot easier, chase down enemies for early game kills, and exchange harass better.

How does boots give me better harass power over mana? Mana gives more damage as ryze nooooob!!!!
Yes, mana gives more damage, but because of the mobility offered in boots you can q them and quickly run away b4 that mana crystal ryze can q you back.

3 Pots= can be mana aswell depends on who you are laneing against. For example, a passive laner such as veigar, you can use 2 or 1 mana pots, but i recommend 3 pots vs aggresive laners such as annie, anivia, or ahri.
